Need to shakedown the vette for a few more days and I hope to register for this one! So far she's running like a demon again. Gotta burn up this old $3.80 gas that's still in her (added stabil back in October).

Just got the fresh rear rubber replaced from that nasty cut that kept me out of the last Championship event so I am itching to get back in the saddle.
This one will be a coin toss for me as that is Master's Sunday. Might be able to squeeze the morning session in depending on the final agenda for the day.

Verizon hates us again this month, it seems. If you have a Verizon email address and feel like requesting that our domain be unblocked, please do.
Meanwhile... I just sent an email reminding everyone to register for the two April events. Verizon customers didn't get it.

Looks great, I'll be seeing if I can get a clean event ( no cones or DNF ).

What I found really cool for this and the last event is being able to drive the course counter clockwise again.
Funny thing about the "sand" last event Brian drove the first run of the day early with a full load, cold tires, strange car and didn't hit anything while posting a really fast time. Followed by Drew who went even faster with warm tires on the second run of the day. Just sayin'.
I come in the PM simply because I don't like getting up early and I like getting any stickers immediately with the roar of the crowd - it's exhilarating:)

I ran a pretty respectable time in the first run group, myself. I still don't buy into the whole "afternoon is faster" theory. If anything, it's psychological because by the afternoon, enough people have run that you know what kind of time you "should" be running. But, if you take a page from resident alien Jeremy's playbook... you never drive according to what someone else is doing or has done... you just drive the car a little bit faster than humanly possible.
Anyway... turn-out is light for this event so far. Maybe everybody's out doing Spring Break trips or something? I don't know, but registration closes Monday. Get yourself registered! Bring friends!

I should be able to attend, have to wait it out as long as I can, family and/or work issues may have me heading out of town without much notice.

my car is apart. I don't want to rush it together like I did last time.

My last xcross of any kind unless I rent a moped for 2 months so I'm signed up.
If Loren and Drew want to have a "top level" showdown. I'll volunteer the Vette since Matt is working so doesn't need a ride.
Each will get two runs so it doesn't matter who goes first BUT with proper guidance they will alternate drives.
Right hand pledge: "No FFA (future farmers of America) excursions AND hopefully no direct hit big cones."
I think these two guys are pretty equal from what I've observed and the GreyV8 is a "tie machine" lately.
If you don't show up you won't know the outcome.
If Jeremy comes he can co-drive with me as 119 and I'll bring the sprayer for our sunburned heads. I'm down to 5mm tread and it's getting really sticky now.
It will be a great Sunday for Racing @ Brooksville. I know you're waiting to see the long term weather forecast and they lie.
