I had a fun time who else?
My car handles better on the Azenis tires but lacks the grip. Still it wouldn't have helped me I was tight but late. Still I had a blast. Video of my best clean run:

I got a few pictures but not many good ones.

I really like the dog track. Can't wait to jump into mod tire class. Really enjoyed the insight and the grand cherokee. Thanks everyone!

here's my video. Finally got a fast run within 5 or so runs instead of near the end. Kinda happy to do that for once, but was tough to get into the 33s heh.

This was fun. I've never saved so many near-spins. Ever. I couldn't focus on going fast because I was busy keeping the rear end behind me. Thanks everybody!

It was a fun time for sure. I had a blast skating around out there. That's probably the closest I've felt to the snow/ice driving I'd be hooning around in this time of year when I lived up north in a long time. Whoot!
Racing... because golf only requires one ball.

Whew wee, that was a great event with great people and great food. I'd say I backed up my trash talk (I did not think I could). Within the top ten there was a difference of .001 between two positions!

Hey "El Duderito" you need a different muffler. Otherwise looks like you had a good time.aw614 wrote:[

Sorry 'El Duderito" it sounds like you tied a balloon onto your bike wheel OR just did a Bronx Cheer for 33 seconds? Not cool.aw614 wrote:hey that's an OEM integra hype RRRRRRRRRRR exhaust that I got a good deal ontwistedwankel wrote:Hey "El Duderito" you need a different muffler. Andrew puts a remote mike on his rear bumper to pick up the exhaust. It really doesn't sound that bad in reality.
Besides... at least he was THERE.

I call that you're not allowed to get an NC with times like that. lol. Nice run, man. I also call that Randy isn't allowed to get tires either. The Jeep was a blast; Alan laid down a sweet four wheel drift on my ride alongInspecta wrote:Whew wee, that was a great event with great people and great food. And Ron, after video review, I did create my own imaginary course for runs 6, 7 & 8...
Here's my best, albeit crooked video from the day. I wanted to get a feel for how far out I was in the slalom and experimented with the cam a bit; also tried a second gear start given the distance to the lights (my second worst idea). I need to order up an articulating mount to get an accurate view.

Fun stuff, dog track might be my favorite...

That Jeep is the good kind of crazy! Also that 2nd gear launch is sure to save on tire wear!dan wrote:I call that you're not allowed to get an NC with times like that. lol. Nice run, man. Also thanks to Tyler/Aaron and Ben/Loren for letting me borrow their cars for a run(s). I had a blast driving them.
