Fun day today. Thanks to Dave and Matt for fixing my flat tire today, I appreciate it. S4 was on fire today, I have some work to do on my driving. I am looking forward to Philip's pictures of the day's event. See everyone in two weeks at Brooksville.

Oh wow, I didn't realize how close Phil and I were. He got me by 0.001! Bastard.

7 tenths off ftd is quite a bit on a 36 second course, but it's the closest I've got so far, and I'm happy with that. Also learned a lot about my car and ran my best time on my last run which is good for me also. Loved the track and hanging out with you guys was great as always. Thanks

I hate it when I make a post and forget to hit "send".
Anyway... I think this was my favorite dog track course yet!
Results are up on the website.
Thanks for coming out and enjoying some casual good times with us!

Today was great, I never put it together end to end but I still got a sticker, so I got that going for me (and Ron said grip didn't matter...). Watching Phil through the finish was a real treat too.

Fun place to autocross with the elevation changes. FAST club put together a fun course. Dan, your runs looked great from my work station, but all of us know how impossible it is to NOT make mistakes. Great spending time at the track with everyone.

I'll have to agree with Loren, this was IMO the best dog track course yet. Maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment, but I enjoy running the street tires at the dog track. Things were a bit hectic when the timing went a bit wacky, but I want to thank everyone for their help and patience. And Dan likely would have been in second or even first place in M2, except he was crazy enough to take a lap with me. He likely learned many bad things. Sorry Dan. All and all it was another great day with FAST!

Lots of fun, my first time at the dog track, I was a little worried with all the dips, but ended up not being an issue, most fun event yet!

I had fun taking the turn around the slow way, I wish I had tried to take it properly one or two runs, I believe I could have been in the 36s... Either way fun day and course!

I had a blast, this was by far the best course layout I have run at this site!

Today was my debut in the Fastiva as Loren's co-driver while Ben is on walkabout. I must say, I've tasted the Kool-Aid, and I like it! That car is a real POS, but Loren and Ben have worked wonders with the suspension and the thing is incredibly grippy. I ended up second in class, .2 behind Loren, and 12th overall, in a car that shouldn't. Gonna enjoy these next few months, for sure.
Thank you very much to everyone who pitched in today. Even with a short timing delay, we were either on- or ahead-of-schedule the entire day. So smooooooth....

Philip - great shots! You were really "on" today beyond just your usual driving. BTW, did you see the video Ron took of one of your drifts?
This shot is the best! imho...

p.s. Thanks Philip!

I set my camera up on a tripod and tried to capture the second run group on video. I ran out of card space because it stopped recording but I think but I got most of that group.

Thanks! Rons video is awesome, rivals make excellent drifting tires.

Wow! Now I know why my first run was clean (I come in at the 2 minute mark)
I swore I nailed a cone but everyone told me it was clean. You can see I clearly nail the cone and it stays almost exactly in place..

I'm pretty sure that's lateral motion with a bit of rotation occurring in that picture and Steve is pulling his arms in to his body so as to not lose a limb if my tire catches a lip in the pavement... [emoji15]
