I ordered a set of 225/45/15 BFG Rival S tires for $516 with $60 shipping. Tire Rack quoted me $630.56 for the tires and 63.16 for shipping.

The prices look good, how old are the tires you got?

We'll see next week, Phil said they will come directly from BFG's warehouse. However, they are not the new for 2016 compound as reported and tested by GRM as those are not available for sale at this time.

I got my wheels for Phil's, extremely fast delivery at a reasonable cost.

After my dismal experience with Phil's Tire Service, I recommend you stay far, far away from this vendor. They did not deliver as promised. They charged my account, but did not get tires from the warehouse to send to me after two and half weeks waiting and emailing back and forth. I gave up.

That's unfortunate, sounds like they may have been at the mercy of the warehouse/manufacturer.

Bummer: I got my Rivals S from Tire Rack back in mid July. Took 2 days for delivery. All 4 are dated "0216." That was with a $50 discount.

Not sure if mine are the 2016 construction or not...but assume they are if magazines are testing them and going to print.

Always been happy with Tire Rack...and Luke.

I got mine from TR also with the $50 discount, they told me up front I would experience a delay due to demand, but they did have them in stock and when they would ship and when they would be delivered. Had Phil's offered the same level of upfront communication; they would have kept my business. Anyway, I have new tires mounted and balanced. Look out M3
