What a day. I'm continually impressed with how smooth and efficient FAST is
The course was great fun. Glad I ended up in the second run group, though it was probably fun to drive in the rain.
Haven't posted a video before so hopefully I am doing it right. Here is my second run. Was late into the slalom on a couple laps but felt pretty good overall. Managed a 177.3xx

Wow... What an awesome event, outstanding! This was my first time doing an Endurocross. I must say I'm addicted, where can we sign up to do this style event again?! +1 for more multi-lap events.
As part of the morning group we were greeted with fog that quickly turned into a light mist then almost rain... but the sun came out just after the start of the first run group and things dried up nicely!
Anyways, here's my run videos... I managed to DNF both runs, on the forth lap, at the exact same spot... I didn't want to believe I did it on the first run, I was zoned out I guess, and on the second run I just carried way to much speed and forgot where I was and well... DNF.
All in all, it was still a fun day with FAST!

Here is my second run, my only run with dry pavement. I am sure if I had 2 runs in dry conditions I could have cut at least a second off this time of 171.030. You can see I was getting more comfortable and faster each lap.
The camera angle is a little low.

Thanks for helping us through another great event, folks!
The age we live in: Four forum posts. Four high-def videos. Not a single photo yet.

I can say with complete and candid disequivocation that the Endurocross format is AWSOME. And I never use that word with frivilocity. My only regret for today is that I didn't also sign up for the afternoon session. Well... that and the smell. My deepest and sincerest apologies to the morning session folks for the Road Kill Motorsports experience that we brought with us from Levy County. I know the aroma was somewhat, um, gross.
Tyler told me that he saw something come out from under my car on my second run. He thought it could be a wayward auto part, so while the flagger and the folks from station 1 were sweeping my starboard fog light off the course, Tyler went to see what it was. It turned out to be a coyote bone. Ewww. We stopped off at a car wash on the way north, and I managed to get all the coyote fur off my front and rear bumpers, and most of the smell out from under the car. I guess if this happens again, maybe we should stop at the car wash
before the event. Whaddya think Ron?
Seriously, I think the endurocross format provides the best opportunity for quality seat time. I really think FAST leadership should consider doing these more than once a year. I think doing them quarterly would not be too often. I don't know if these are harder to organize and run than the conventional classic events, but if they are, I would be willing to put in some extra work to make them happen. Thanks to everyone who pitched in to make today the great event it was. And, again, sorry for the smell thing.

Fun times. I got a good burn from my course work. That was really nice of the weather to clear out so fast though. Thank you, as always to our fearless leaders and I really have a great time at every event I come out to.

I didn't get all the drivers but I think I got at least one pic of most of the cars.

Thanks for the pics Phillip. I learned if it's raining grid to the very back, I was up front and it was still a little wet on my second run, but at least I shaved 19s from my first run when it was really wet.

Is this your DSLR camera? It was windy but I don't hear the typical over bearing wind noise, good microphone or nice wind screen.

I like that camera angle, I may have to try that on my car. People complain about the helmet mount I have been using.

The helmet mount is great for seeing what the driver sees, but it takes some getting used to to watch. I would prefer to mount mine a little forward of where it is, but if I do that, I have to make sure I keep the driver's widow down so I don't hit the camera when I open/close the door.
