I'm sure we'll be talking about how to get in and out of 3rd gear on an autocross course, and how to not get rattled by high speed transitions. We'll also be starting mental preparation for the Endurocross, and maybe a little chit-chat about a track event. All while enjoying perfect weather and great food!

You can get a kick-ass burger for $5.95 on Mondays, and the rest of the menu is well worth a look. Somebody told me they have beer, too.

Please post if you're coming... they don't do reservations, but it's handy to know how many people to expect so that we can snag a table with the right amount of seats!

Got lots of practice at the Corvette club event today, up to third and back to second 2 times on each run and into the finish in 3rd again, so 6 shifts per run. Ken only had to shift into third at one spot, cause he can get into the upper 80s in second.

So, you gonna come tell us more about it tomorrow night?

Rumor on the street is there might be some new specials...

Ken spun out on his 2nd run coming out of the turn around. Huh? Joe was rock solid in his autocross/not track car @ a track event which I loved gluing my pedal to the floor and just staying in the sweet 2nd/3rd spot for an entire run all the way up to 55mph. Whoa!! Jimmy Carter you were right. I got to drive Mike's 1 speed corvette/Loren tamer/Honda Insight with 202k miles on it. What a total blast. I have no idea how he beats anyone in that car. No bells, no whistles, no balls (other than the driver) and he takes off the entire exhaust system to make his runs..what???!!! I thought the rear tire covers were over the top. He took only two runs in the Rx8 and was "up to speed". Mad skills. I've been seeing some real talent the last few events. Nice to see this sport prosper.

Wish this place wasn't so far away. I'll stop again when I either get another alignment or some tires. (Or convince wife to get some good grub works even better.) Good company yall.

Yeah. I had lunch there today.

I was in a salad mood, so I didn't try any of them. But, Cathy had their "Swamp Thing" special and it was really good! Sounds weird. It's like an open-faced sandwich with smoked brisket and a bunch of seafood on it. But, it was excellent.
