Rolling into April! Does that mean it's Spring? Yeah, it doesn't really matter, does it?

We're back at Brooksville for another FAST Open Autocross. Should be event #8 of the 2017-18 Championship, there are still plenty of points to be won! And, of course, we're all just there to have a good time. Come out and have some fun!

Registration & Event Info

Basic event details:
  • This is a FAST Open autocross, that means that it is open to all licensed drivers.
  • Novices and first-timers are encouraged to enter!
  • Pre-registration is REQUIRED for all Drivers AND Guests. We can't let you in the gate if you're not registered.
  • Driver entry fee is $39.99, guest entry fee is $7.99.
  • This will be a split-format event. You can enter the Early session 8am-12pm or the Late Session 12pm-5pm, or both.

Yes. I have a plan. Everyone writes off 3 slowest runs in points. I really don't need 2pts for winning the (trailer queen) R1 class. It would be "way" better if one of the 'only' great crazy good drivers to have "not ever" driven my "lame ass" R1 Vette 100q tires would accompany me for 4 runs or 2 runs in 2 classes?

So here's the deal. The Alien Drew gets 2 to 4 runs in my R1 Vette which i will actually drive there. Either way I get 2 points. 1st or 2nd. Drew can still run in two classes or like who cares (assuming he is ahead)? We drop 3 events in points (thanks to the Mayor). I have yet to finish last in R1. Whoa. Drew you can set a new record. The Mayor last in a class.

Who knows? More R1 folks? There were 6 last weekend. Trailer park? I get more points with 6 participants:)

If you want I can hire an AA tow to bring my car there to qualify? Still get 2 pts.

3/32" of Toyo R888R is pretty fast.

Drew - sign up as 119, 91, 9 or the "phantom" in R1? You are the second to last guy I will invite to an event. I have another one for the next event. There might be more? I should live so long. I think I can beat The Drew:)

The Mayor.

Thru start thru station 1 is confusing? The world's tightest slalom would be indicated but you show straight thru? Gates are 2 cones.

i'm inviting Drew to co-drive is all. More contests to follow.

It's just a double lane-change. Shift to the right. Shift back to the left.

Dang it! No cones at the end of the course marking off the turnaround! The double lane change looks fun though...

There are three cones marking the turnaround...you just have to fill in the rest in your head....
