We haven't had a straight-up Brooksville Classic event since September! We're due!
And this one's on a
SUNDAY.
This is a Classic event, which means fewer entries, more runs and no formal novice instruction. We do require all entrants to have competed in at least 5 prior autocross events so that they sort of know what they're doing (or enlist an experienced sponsor).
We'll be providing lunch for all registered drivers and guests at this event.
Registration is open until January 21. But, if it's like every other event we've had over the past few months, it will sell out early.
This event is at Brooksville, so pre-registration is required for ALL drivers and guests.

Registration is pretty light for this one so far. Of course, it is still 3 weeks away. But, you know how that goes.
What if I told you there would be a practice skidpad available? Perfect opportunity to do a little shock tuning, set your tire pressures, verify your alignment, etc.

I'll bite. I always plan on skipping a good amount of these and then feel the regret after reg closes lol.
If anyone is interested, and hopefully we'll get a good amount of runs, I'd love to take a lap in something new for the hell of it as well.. if not I'll be sending my re71rs off on the s2000 either way. Skid pad send off

I lost a bet over dinner tonight. I saw new posts in this thread, and was sure it was going to be "course map?"

Good News! Based on some experimentation at the Jan 6th event, we've decided to drop the "sponsor" program in favor of just limiting the number of allowed Novices. The registration system keeps track of it all for us, and keeps these events from being overloaded with too many inexperienced folks. Works great!
So, if you're a novice or first-timer and wanted to register for this event... go do it!

Well you bumped me to 3rd, no more practice for you! At least Drew let me have 2nd.

Darn. No way I'll get new tires + mounted by Carl before this event. Nice smooth predictable quick course. Perfect for everyone. Especially course workers as no reason to hit any cones.

Don't blame me, It's all Rons fault. We need to shift all our attention to him.

I should come play with you guys in M0 next year. Our times are usually all pretty close. Would make for fun competition.
