This one is a Dunnellon Championship event. Small. Casual. Sort of like a Classic event. A lot like FUN!

This event will be open to all drivers, just like a FAST Open event, but it won't be a part of our Championship series. It will be run more like a Classic event, casual and fun, but without the experience requirement of a Classic. It's "just an Autocross", come on out and have some fun!

If you know any autocrossers (or people who might become autocrossers) who live in the Ocala/Gainesville area, be sure they know about this event!

We'll be providing lunch for all registered drivers and guests at this event, too!

ENTRY PROCEDURES: We are required to have an escort to cross the active runway. You WILL NOT be able to come and go as you please, even at the end of the event. We must wait for the truck with the flashing lights and radio to escort us safely across that runway! 

Registration is open until June 12.

All drivers AND guests must pre-register, this is a closed site.

I have inventory until 9:30 am . Wont be able to make it

Registered for this, need to get an event in June since I am not sure if I will be able to make the 29th as I may be flying to New York. Philip is going to be codriving this event, let's see if he finally figures out my car

Probably not, I fixed the issues I encountered while I was at the FIRM, and it seems good so far ::knocks on wood::

I didn't notice I asked for the course map 3 weeks prior to event . Use to the events being on a 2 week cadence.

lots of standing water on course and the grass area basically turns into a lake. Time to shop for some rain boots lol

It's too early to call, but the weather doesn't look too bad for Saturday just yet.

And the course is designed as a one-car course, so it's well back from the edges in most places... shouldn't be too bad even it it is wet.

You missed his comment a while back about having massive negative camber so runs on the inside of the tires like skis. All the time not just on race day!!

A Miata or Mirage (the other M word) on MS 195 tires can beat him in the raining wet. There is ONLY a 30% chance of a passing thunderstorm this weekend anyhow so he can run his slicks.
