More Miata paint prep. We're shifting from 150 grit to 320 grit. That's got to be a good thing.

As usual, plenty of space to work on other stuff over here. And if we got really motivated, maybe we could start swapping shocks (coarse mechanical work that I can handle) while Chris works on final sanding and finishing (fine, detail work that I can't handle). There will be cookies. There will be lunch.

WHEN: Saturday, June 1 - 9:00amNoon-5:00pm

WHAT: Miata body work... or perhaps whatever YOU need to do as long as it's nothing major. I have plenty of driveway space, tools and knowledge. Fluid changes, brakes, other minor maintenance are all doable.

WHERE: My garage in Safety Harbor, PM me if you need the address.

WHO: Me and Chris at a minimum. Anyone else is welcome to come watch & learn, help, hang out, heckle, whatever.

Please reply if you plan to attend. And if you have any work to do, that would also be good to know. 8-)

Nobody piped up, and Chris is working some OT in the morning. So...

Let it be known that the official start time is noonish. I'm gonna sleep in a little and go have brunch with she who bakes cookies!

I will try to come over for a few hours after lunch. I also have some commitments tomorrow until 1:30 or so. Can hopefully head over after that.

My first thought was "are you really wearing matching shirts?" but then I realized that was just silly.

Me, Chris, Dan & Philip attacked the car for about 4 hours today. 8 hands made quick work of sanding the primer. Soooo Smooooooth!

It was really wet when we started, but after a while the sun came out and it dried up. We were able to get primer sprayed on the hard top, bumpers, mirrors and fuel door.

Very productive afternoon! Thanks, guys!
