Newbie class help

Hey everyone! My first fast event is September 7th in Lakeland, really excited as I’ve been looking for an event that wasn’t 2+ hours away.

My question is with car classes. I’m going to be driving my 2017 Ford Ecoboost. The only modification I’ve done is an adapter to hear the blowoff valve, but it doesn’t change anything other than added noise for personal preference. I mainly want to make sure this won’t cause any issues with classing and I can still run in my stock class, otherwise I’ll just remove it if it’s going to cause a problem.

Thanks for any help!

Here's the big difference between FAST modification rules and SCCA (and many other clubs). In SCCA rules, "if the rules don't say you can, then you can't". In FAST rules, "if the rules don't say you can't, then you can". (within reason)

As long as your mod isn't actually changing BOOST, which is prohibited by the Stock rules, you're fine.

I'd watch out for those blow off spacers and losing boost, I recall several friends with VWs that had similar spacers lost power or had weird issues with it that went away when it was removed...
