Hurray for Drew!

I would like to make a friendly suggestion, Mr. Event Chairman, that in addition to the usual crew, you consider organizing a few folks whose job assignment for the day will be either getting there early to help set up, or staying late to help clean up...

My job assignment is to get the trailer there on time and then put it to bed when all is done ... as usual.

OK, I might chase some cones or wave the start flag or something, also. :)

Ok, let's kick this off.
Saturday February 17, Hernando county airport outside of beautiful Brooksville, Florida. Come one, came all, bring a friend! Just make sure you are registered a week in advance.
We got water and ice covered. Do we need some sodas also?
Glad to see you will be able to make your trailer hauling chore useful this time Bill. Thanks. Is there a real chance of returning to the great white north before the event? Do we need a back-up hauling plan?
We will need :
-Tech- Jeremy, Brian
-Registration- Ron and William, Leo (if needed)
-Course setup- need a few early arrivers to place cones. Much easier at BV. No measuring, it's a big grid.
so far: Dave, Darren, Russ, Leo
-Lunch- Charles.
-Clean up, post event- need some people to help with loading the trailer back up and removing the cones.
So far- Kenny, Brian Kollar

More to follow as I remember the things I can't think of right now. :)

there were several 12 packs of soda left, but it probably couldn't hurt to get a little more.

We will also need a volunteer to man the gate button to let people in.
That same person can hand out tech sheets for everyone to take to registration. That will give the gatekeeper an idea on who and how many might still be showing up.
Registration could be done at the gate for that matter. Any thoughts yea or nay on that?

This is definitely the way we need to run the show at Bville....

I've got a job until Feb 15. Whether I have a "new" job on the 16th is an unknown at the moment.

Either I'll be there and telling you all about my "new" job (and I use "new" loosely -- more details on Monday when the public announcements are made) or I'll be there saying goodbye.

Worst case, I'll let you know on the 17th if you need to have someone else towing in the future.

ahh, Bill...living life on the edge in a fashion of which I am admittedly not jealous.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I will try and bring the tools, chemicals etc. needed to fix your headlights. After they are reconditioned you are going to need to keep up w/ keeping them protected, possibly waxing them 1-2 times a month (2-3 mins max. and well worth it for the longevity of the lights. What time do you generally get there and is there a place to plug in a cord perhaps? I will try and get there early to fix'em for you, just let me know. Looking forward to the upcoming event! Ross

I'll probably roll in around 8 to set up the timer and get my tires swapped (if needed). Sometimes there's a generator, other than that, I dunno.

BTW, Jamie (I guess its you I ask?)... up until what date can I still change my classing entry? I'd rather do it before they get printed up/entered into software/whatever, just wondering...
