Wet morning aside, this turned out to be a fantastic day, and a great event. Thanks!
The course was pretty awesome, if I do say so, myself.
Results are up.

Get that dangly distraction off your mirror! They shouldn't have let you pass tech like that.
Looks like you had some fun!

Yep, they had me take it off halfway through my runs. I'm just so used to it I didn't even think about it until it was pointed out

I would drive that course an :infinite: number of times, it was so good
I stunk in the morning but redeemed myself timewise in the afternoon with a change in strategy and thanks to a tip from Steve.
Wife thought I should proudly display my morning session 'that guy' trophy, so I decided the china hutch would be good (until she notices it).
Hats off to Steve for stomping on M4

Was there a preferred way to run the second loop around well before the finish? I ran it wide and also tight, but loss time that way, but also ran it wider and it "felt better", but it seems times were really close (within a tenth), not running trackaddict app so I don't know which sections I was faster in...
Having the continentals in the back was manageable, but made the rear end lose more grip at the limit and felt like they don't want to transition as fast as say the bridgestones do.

Andrew, I went wider leaving the cross-over into the righthander than you did in your video.

I screwed up that section in that run, the rear tires was doing some weird things and I nearly lost it there, my second run at 33.8xx, I went wider but felt it was too wide

Damn I really wish I could’ve stayed the whole day, I never got a run that I was happy with but I did enjoy the course a lot. Congrats to Joe V for showing us how it was done in M3 Saturday. Still getting used to these Rivals, the more I drive them the more I wish they had a 245 RE71. Tons of outright grip but just isn’t as sharp as the Bridgestones were. Regardless the car looks friggin’ sweet with fatties all the way around

Indeed.
That bit of sog early in the day just made the rest of the day that much better by comparison. Really nice. I'm gonna think that put everyone in a great mood and led to a really smooth event with a really interesting and fun course to drive. Many thanks to all of you who made that happen.

Yeah, you had a rough morning, but you really put it together in the p.m. and edged me by .02. Fun-runs don't count and all, but the wagon put in a really nice showing - well-tuned and well-driven.

I drove the car in full angry mode... And found out ABS works when going backwards!
Really liked the course, best time I've had in a while.

That was a great course. Glad to see ftd held from the morning, seems like everyone that ran in the morning and then fun runs did a nice amount better in the afternoon. Wonder if it was due to the dirt clearing up or people getting the course down, but anywho big improvements from a lot of people. Also damn Drew, freaking 0.052 from me, nuts! I thought I would've had a couple tenths on you but jesus

.

I haven’t even gotten the video off my gopro yet, too embarrassed to look at it

Haha I’ll finally get the motivation before the end of the day tomorrow.

Mostly suck less - honestly, it's only the last two events that I've turned off traction control (solves the start-line throttle hiccup that was so proudly documented) - I still haven't checked the camber/alignment - but the car is generally understeery. I think the biggest item, I figured out the entry speed/braking on the inside turn around loop which let me setup far better on the tight exit turn around - without pushing, I was on the acceleration much faster across the offset slalom. I very much had it right on my last comp run but turned the car backwards going for broke at the finish.
In the end - I'm just getting to the point that I've had enough seat time to know the car's limits a bit.

Alright here it is. This is my best run which was my third, a 32.8. My fourth run was going to be significantly faster until I got greedy on the big left hand turn. Carried too much speed and the car got out of shape, was pissed at myself for throwing away what started out to be a pretty good run and ended up going off course in my fury. Looking forward to more seat time with this new setup, the bigger Rivals have insane grip but I’m just not as confident yet with their less than precise feel.
