Pretty good day in spite of the occasional drizzle. It really wasn't that bad, and at least it was plenty warm!

Results are up on the website.

Where's all the photographic and video evidence???

Good course. Would comment something about the weather but I know what kind of comments will be made :rolling: . I wasn't expecting FTD with that super decked out Miata and driver here this morning. I also wanted to gauge how I would stack against some national trophy drivers and was happy with my results.

p.s - Ken, take it easy on M4, you gonns scare the competition away.

My 31.295 run.

Ken's in S4, which he walked all over. His last run was magical. 3rd in PAX amongst some some heavy-hitters!

When S4 is on their game, they are faster than M4. M4 has better suspension, but has that 205 tire limit and no LSD. Sometimes that matters.

Coned away my 3 fastest runs 31.8, 31.5. 31.6. Was fun giving rides to first timers and showing them the ropes.
Pretty neat little site, only 40 minutes from the house. Thanks again, well run as always.

Was a fun course. Would have liked more than one chance at it in the dry, though. Technically I had two, but on my first run, I was conducting a very scientific experiment on how many of those short cones I could get stuck under my car. The answer is all of them.

Well, that was fun! We got pretty lucky with the weather, given what could have been.
Much appreciation for all the assistance we got from the masses, and especially Gene, Ryan, and Kyle (and others I may have missed) for help with packing up at the end of the day.

And even more appreciation to Gene for the co-drive. :notworthy: Awesome car that neither of us really found the limits for - it's stock and totally capable of FTD if driven well. My first run was my fastest, and I couldn't repeat it try as I did. I'm thinking it was truly a matter of pushing harder and sucking less (I can see on Dan's vid that I was too wide in a couple of places and that only served to add distance).

Happy New Year!

Don't let Drew drive it. We might end up having a "Freakin' Drew and his freakin' Porsche." situation.

I need in on this Porsche situation. Will trade rides for a run or 2.

Really interesting course...had some serious challenges both in positioning the car and dealing with the pavement. I wouldn't mind seeing that again in another year.

Meanwhile...so close!

Nice event to end the season. Was fun bringing out the Speed3 for an event as it's been at least a year and a half since I stopped autoxing it after getting the Miata. New to order new tires for the miata so I can get back to chasing you guys in S4 again.

Thx Steve it was a lot of fun. Looks like Daniel was fast and smooth through the left hand turn near station 3 by the entrance road, and that section was giving me issues should have pushed harder through there. Also was lifting too much in corners as Loren pointed out- i am going to address that.
