Jan 25 - Winter in Venice

Pretty great little event today!

Philip wasn't around to take photos. But, the Results are up!

Thanks to everyone for helping out, and to those who let me take runs in their cars. Bill's VW was better than I expected it to be... and I expected it to be really good!

Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.

Another fun day of autocross though! I was very happy with my time until all the guys with bewst put me in my place. Congrats to the Drews, it looked like that last section could be a handful in a car with power so getting it right was tricky. My car easy, just floor it from the turn around all the way to the finish. Here’s my best run. 39.443

Never expected a power course at Venice. It was a blast!

Fun watching Steve and Loren duke it out in M4.

My off-road adventure was amusing; nice of Steve to shield me from the wave of dirt :) Got some car cleaning to do tomorrow.

Haha, not much of a fight. Save one silly cone, he nailed me by a second and a half - 40.0 +1 to my 41.4
Loren's time speaks volumes to the suspension tuning on that beast... :notworthy:

Was a lot of fun. Once again, we really appreciate everyone coming out, hanging out, helping out, and making it a great day. :)

Did you have the 15x8s mounted for Sat's event? If so how did it feel vs your old 15x7s?

we're in the process of destroying tires on current wheels. Then new wheels.

Loren will be even faster. Steve very likely faster. Bill…maybe :)
