FAST Monday - March 16 - Shamrock Edition

Okay, let's talk about this Corona virus thing. It is a valid concern. We almost opted out of FAST Monday for it. Here's where I'm at:
1. If you're part of the "vulnerable" population (over a certain age, or with an otherwise questionable immune system), stay home!
2. If you're not, consider how you might come in contact with those who ARE. You could spread the virus to them.
3. If you're not concerned about either of those things, then SMALL gatherings in places where you can keep a reasonable distance from other people... well, it's a small risk that you might be willing to take.
Personally, I don't get out much, anyway. My wife is working from home until at least early April. And neither of us have a need to get near any elderly people.
On the flip side, I also like to try to support the local economy! There are a lot of service industry folks who are going to be struggling if the local businesses can't stay afloat. So, as long as I *can* reasonably continue giving them my business, I will.
Cathy and I ate at Craft Street this afternoon. The usual brunch crowd is pretty big. Maybe 80% or more of the capacity of the place. Today, the place wasn't "empty", but there was maybe 25% of the usual patronage. It was nice. The usual good food and service, but I didn't feel "crowded" at all.
So, I'll be at Craft Street tomorrow evening. Hope to see some of you there. But, I totally understand if you need to opt out.
Craft Street has a great Monday special, a half-pound burger for $6.95. You can't beat it! And if you want something different, their regular menu and their monthly specials are full of variety and goodness.
Please post if you're coming... they don't do reservations, but it's handy to know how many people to expect so that we can snag a table with the right amount of seats!
We'll be on the patio from 7:00pm until we decide to leave, or they turn the lights off.
