I've still got a long list of things to do on the MG. (the list seems to just get LONGER) But, the brakes are all fixed, so it's time to do a complete brake and clutch hydraulic system flush and bleed. Lots of little things to do, but I really want to get my swaybar fabricated. I have all the materials.
So, come help keep me motivated! Come work on your own stuff. Come learn stuff. Come hang out. Come help me eat lunch (the most important meal of the day). Come check out my new car!
Who: Me. You? Whomever.
What: Wrenching on the MG and whatever. Doing groj stuff.
Where: Loren's place in Safety Harbor (PM me if you need the address)
When: Saturday, December 30, 9am-4pm.
Why: I don't trust other people to work on my cars! Plus, it's fun!
Who's coming? What else do we have to work on?
So far:
Me - MG Stuff
Steve Frank - Miata clutch bleed
Tyler Williams - Miata suspension stuff

I'll show my face.
Since we're bleeding stuff, I've been wanting to do the Miata clutch. Maybe will do that. Or something...

I have plenty of extra brake fluid to handle another clutch.
Anybody else?

Nice time in Da Groj today. Philip came by and ended up staying all day, making us all look good in photos. Tyler replaced the upper shock mounts on his Miata. Steve and I had a hydraulic system extravaganza with a little help from Philip.
Had fresh-baked blueberry muffins in the morning, and rode to lunch in Philip's BMW (the one with the disappointingly wrong engine) and enjoyed some Mexican food.
Les was around for a few minutes to drop off some oil he was liquidating from his garage, and discuss national finance.
More people should come next time!

Was fun to visit with folks, and get a few chores done.
And the weather was terrific - really cool in the shade, comfortably warmer in the sun.

My Miata doesn't clunk anymore! And Loren's MG is very clean for being 20 years older than my rust bucket!
