Times are Tough special.

Postby treekiller » Thu Jan 29, 2009 12:03 pm

Greetings,

As one of our Preferred Customers, I wanted to give you advance notice of a service special we’ll be offering next month.

Our advertisement for February will come out later in the month, will announce details of a “Times Are Tough Special” that will give FAST members a 20% discount on labor charges for all regularly scheduled maintenance and service on their Race or Street cars (e.g. Inspections, brakes, timing belts, Oil Service, and all routine fluid and filter changes).

This special is only good for the month of March, but I’m going to make it available TODAY to everyone who has asked to be on our Preferred Customer List whether you’re a FAST member or not. But if you are a FAST member, you can use your Club discount for an additional 10% off parts prices!

We are only able to accept one of these heavily discounted appointments per day and expect them to fill up, so if your Race or street car will be needing regularly scheduled service in the next month or so I urge you to book your appointment today.

As the headline of our ad says… “We know times are tough, but don’t take it out on your car.”

I hope this helps. Thank you for your continued support.

Jeff, 1st Place Engineering.

Word on the street is that Treekiller is getting rave reviews, folks - check him out! (my personal opinion based on forum-lurking, not an official FAST endorsement...)

Jeff, I have a 03 Civic Si with the K-series engine, do you do clutches on FWD cars? Not really concerned about the discount, just want someone I can trust that won't do a hack job. I'm a ex-mechanic, but I don't have the lift and shop to do the job, but wouldn't mind helping if that's an option. Again, I'm not looking for a discount, but I would like to be apart of the process if that's an option, and I'll buy lunch and the beer. 8)

Sure, usually I say $89/hr and $120 if you watch. :-) But if you want to help I have no problem I usually print out all the pages from the FSM for a particular job, so no hacking. I have to charge you book hours regardless since I warranty all work. unless it's experimental custom work. did you need me to order you a Clutch? I can get Exedy clutches at a fair street price. and I feel Dakin makes the best clutches

Jeff did a fantastic job on my S2K, sourcing a new short block, aluminum radiator, silicone hoses, clutch (that Exedy is as smooth as silk!) and Fidenza lightweight flywheel. Then he went above and beyond adjusting and tuning the head so that my car purrs with power like it never has before!

If you want someone you can trust to work on your car, then you should visit Jeff.

Jack, that is still a bit of an unknown (whether or not I'll be at Brooksville).
