What Mike said!
The Mrs. and I are going out tonight, and it's unlikely I'll get results posted until Sunday morning - just so's y'all know...(I'll get it done sooner if I can).
feel free to flame.

Hey, Kenny... if you think you can handle uploading a file to Joomla (if Steve can do it...), I can give you an admin account. Kinda silly to be emailing them to Steve, anyway.

+1 I think Kenny is more than capable. Besides, we don't want to run this group like corporate America

I'm glad everyone had fun. Couldn't have done it without lots of help, both the people who signed up for jobs and did them, and the people who just pitched in. That help was what got the course up, checked, adjusted and going on time, lunch ordered and delivered, and 8 runs a person clicked off smoothly. Thanks, everyone.

Alright... I'm not one to back away from a challenge. Especially when that challenge is not screwing up the FAST website. So here we go... my first attempt to post the results on my own.

Separate post from the results post...
We had 8 runs, a nice break for lunch, and were still done with all runs by 3:45. That means we had time for 2 more per group!

But seriously, I do want to thank everybody for the kind words about the display project, along with comments/suggestions I received. March is going to be even better.
In other news, I think the bearings in my alternator are on their way out after almost 6 years, over 80000 miles, and countless dusty gravel roads. I suspect that they really don't like the rev limit of the new engine too. So it's time to pull out the JDM parts and see what I have sitting around. Anybody know a good A/C guy so I can have them change my compressor too? (the JDM alternator uses a different bracket/compressor)

There's a good alternator shop in Clearwater that could probably change your pulley for you. Would probably be a lot easier and cheaper to just swap the pulley from your old alternator onto the new one if the shaft is the same diameter. (and if it's not, I bet they'll have something laying around in their scrap pile) Way easier than futzing around with the AC system and all that just to change an alternator!
Good job on posting the results! I had no doubt that you'd find it easy.

Thanks for posting the results - looks just like I did it myself!
Nothing like streamlining a process, eh?
I got some great driving tips from several folks yesterday - thanks again to you all.

You can't handle the truth! Deep down in places that you don't talk about at parties, you WANT me out there kicking ass in that damned Yaris, you NEED me out there kicking ass in that damned Yaris. I would rather you just said "thank you". 8)
Good job, Brian. I always knew you had it in you.

Great weather, great course, great people helping out = A GREAT DAY!!
Jamie did a great job getting everything up and running, nice to see the drivers meeting start at 10am sharp!! The display was a sucess, and Kenny says it will be even better, and a big thanks to Howard for constructing a monitor stand that looks like will hold up to hurricane winds.
I had a great day myself, I was shooting for a run in the 53's and just eeked it out on my last run of 53.995 8) .
I believe I hurt my car though, the steering wheel isn't exactly centered anymore and driving down my friends bumpy and potholed dirt road/driveway there's some wierd clunking going on. I looked at it today when I changed my tires and didn't see anything loose or worn, so I think I'm going to be shopping for some new struts/shocks soon.

Great event!! I always have fun with the FAST club..........but how did I end up with FTD??? Like 4 guys were faster then me! They all hit cones and I didn't...........does that mean I "Push Harder, Suck Less" or just got lucky

Looking at the results, everyones best time in your class was their fastest run of the day, hitting cones or not. 8)
CONGRATS on the FTD !

Well-driven.

Yep, well done, Tod.
and speaking of well driven, Sam's consistent improvement through the day and overall performance were pretty darn good, too!
