It's almost that time, folks! Our first event of the 2010 season is purt-near-yonder around the corner. The duo of Kim and TIm Taylor have volunteered to chair, but we haven't heard from them in a while (hope all is well) so until we do, I'll do the honors of chairing the first 2010 event, and Jamie has a course in mind.
Kim and Tim, if you're out there and still wanna chair, feel free to take over at any time.
Anyway, we'll be looking for the usual group of volunteers: oh, and Bob, I left you on for trailer duty - I hope that's still the plan!

I suppose that's a reasonable excuse. I guess. 8)

I would like to try registration, if someone more experienced can show me the ropes. If not, than you can put me down for tech inspection.

If Brian K. is available and willing, he's the one. Actually, I'm hoping he can, else I'll have to juggle reg. and all the setup stuff, which I could of course, if I had to... Yellow_Colorz_PDT_08
If Brian posts up, we'll know...

Pre-registration opens tomorrow night. Someone who understands them better post the new classing rules -- classes D & E replaced by classes E1, E2, & E3 -- on the club website. I changed the classing chart in the entry template to what appears to be the final decision in the discussion thread.

I'm in for Safety.
I'll be in Alaska until Sept 3rd, so as long as I get the course on the 4th or 5th...... we should have plenty of time to review and/or revise. Of course, Loren may be happy to get the course rocking while I'm gone..... so as long as he agrees, send it to him if the draft is ready before the 3rd.
We need chalk..... we had to get some flour at the Wal-Mart last event.

I can help Ron with safety if Loren does not agree. He might be busy fixing that Mitsu. Otherwise, I can do setup with Tim.

I'm not gonna have any time to devote to playing safety for this event, y'all have fun. That said, I'd be happy to give your "final" or "near-final" a quick look if you send it my way.

We need chalk
Yeah - anyone gonna be anywhere near Allen's SPorting Goods in Seminole? or know of another place to get marble dust? 2 or 3 50lb bags should hold us for a while.
THanks for volunteering for stuff everyone. A few more positions to fill, so far so good!

I'm going to dump our sentra lemons project, none of us never got around to working on it.
I should head up to hang out, but then I'd want to drive, so better not

I'll be there only if one of two things happen, I get the day off work, or, if can run with the first run group, that way I can still make it to work.
So, you can pencil me in for registration with Chris, I'll be glad to show him the ropes.

Thanks Kenny, Brian, and everyone else.
Anyone think they can get marble dust? We also still need some help with supplies, teardown and lunch will probably get delivered, but we'll see...
Jamie - course sent to safety yet?
