I'm in too!! Looking forward to seeing you guys again, it's been a while. I'll be bringing my new auotcross toy and see how she does. May be bringing in a newbie to co-drive as well.

I signed up to help for course tear down and trailer loading, but can also help in other places as needed.

Anyone have a set of 4 lug 16" wheels with tires that fit a 91 240SX they want to sell ?

Actually, I'm not sure we have an event chair for this one yet -- need a volunteer.

I'd be all for chairing a event except: I haven't run in any event since last June, I'm driving a "new" car for the first time that I want to shake down, and I'll be bringing a newbie with me, so, I wouldn't be able to give the event my full attention. Plus I probably couldn't get to SPC any earlier than 8:30 am.

But! I'd have no problem co-chairing with someone. I could help set up lunch, make sure we have enough water/sodas/ice/paper plates/paper towels/ etc. Anything that needs to be done prior to the day of the event. I can also help with setting up the timing equipment as well, and I'll stick around and help with tear down.

You do now. I'll do November.

It was just a matter of time before y'all broke me down.

Let's twist some more arms and get someone to step forward and volunteer to tow that trailer!

While I'm thinking about it...

Supplies in the trailer:
6 cases of water
1 12 of Pepsi
1 12 of Diet Pepsi
1 New package of radio batteries
1 Bag of marble dust (I think... can anyone verify?)

Supplies needed:
More drinks
TP (for the next time we're at Brooksville)

I adjusted my registration to request course set up as my assignment.

Which begs the question, "what will that course look like?"

Indeed. I just registered and signed up for Safety, so I'm your guy. Let me know when you've got a draft for me to review. (be sure to read all the course design stuff included in and linked in the event chairman guide) Or if you don't feel up to designing a course, I can come up with something.

How much stuff is needed in the way of supplies? Will it fit in a Subaru Outback? I don't want to sign up for it if I can't fit it all in my car. Will the chair give me the shopping list?

Evarina--

We were able to fit all the supplies in Cheryl's sedan in September. IIRC, your Outback is a wagon-- shouldn't be a problem. I'll pm you the shopping list, should you accept your challenge.

So does course set up also mean course design? I thought I was just signing up to help place cones. But if this means I am supposed to work on designing the course...ok!

Course design is a duty that falls to the event chairman. He (or she) can either design the course or delegate it to someone else... they're just responsible for ensuring that it gets done! (like everything else)

Setup is just placing cones and breaking out the equipment.

I'll be out of town for this event. I'll pass the laptop over to Kenny or someone else before I leave.

OK, signed up for supplies. Let me know what's needed. You can wait until Fri or Sat before the event if you want, as I live right by ye olde MegaWalMart.
