WOW what a great time Thanks Loren and Ed. I never thought I could get so tired from 5 laps but at the end of the second run my arms where shackin.

I will be getting a better recorder and mount (so its a little shaky)for the next race.Last run 258.?

Great Job, Ed and Loren! A fun weekend of racing! Maybe a couple cordless leaf blowers to cool down all the hot brakes at the next endurocross? At least one to clear all the smoke mine were producing after my first run.

Will someone please step up to chair November's event?
I'm not sure I can go or I'd do it.
Brian K. has said he'd co-chair with you if you take most of the lead.
Let's a get a noob up for this one - Brian's chaired/cochaired before - use him as a coach.

November event thread

FAST is a volunteer organization. THanks for your support!

EDIT: nevermind, John Evans said he'd chiar. All hail John!

Chit-Chat in the padock today actually produced a couple chairman, so I am sure we will be just fine. But, for those still sitting on the fence, unsure if you are ready to step up to the chairman position, that's what the "co-chair" position was created for. So jump off the fence, get your feet wet, and learn all the wonderful things that make our club so enjoyable.

GREAT time at the Enduro today! Ed and Loren really set the bar for a fun, fast and smooth running day.

Mary's best run (edited down to the last minute or so from the 4+ minute runs!)

The course was very Stalker friendly today!

Glad to know folks are considering Chairing events. Nov, and Dec this year are covered. So, how about Jan. 2011? or Feb? C'mon! :D

Sunday Endurocross Results are up!

There were 5 classes, two were combined classes:
Class R = A & R
Class F = F, G & H
Class J
Class E2
Class E3

It's amazing how close some of the competition was with 5-lap runs totaling well over 4 minutes per run!

Quick thanks to everyone who came out today (Saturday, too... but really, Sunday's Enduro was the result of a lot of hours of hard work out in the sun by everyone involved... which was everyone who was there!), especially those who pulled double and triple duty and the volunteers who helped out and weren't even registered drivers. You're all awesome!

Special thanks to Ed for being such a willing and able co-chairman. I leaned on him a lot, he's a great wing man!

Kudos to all who helped out to make it happen...especially Loren and Ed! It had been well over a year since I brought the wagon out to B-ville. I never thought I would actually cook the brakes at an autocross...but then, I had never done an enduro-cross. (Then I passed off the car to my co-driver... "Good luck" Yellow_Colorz_PDT_06 ) Great course, lots of fun.

Great event guys and fun challenging course. As Jeremy pointed out to me, there were fast power sections to be utilized if you could see them. I found them more often on Sunday than I did on Saturday.......

I did find the course workers walking back and forth on the edge of the runway distracting at times during my runs. Not sure what can be done about that if we don't stop for worker changes which takes time. I do think we could swap workers in 5-7 mins flat if we send a truck to drop off and pick up workers, maybe an idea for next time.

I still don't know if starting on the right of the slalom was faster then the left. After talking to Scott I decided to start on the right but once at speed I couldn't get over there. My car seem to really like the left do you think I left time on the track bye taking the left ?

Yes, you probably would have dropped 5 seconds taking it on the right. That's too bad, maybe next time. :)
