Was chatting with a potential event chairman this evening... if he pipes up, he'll be looking for an experienced co-chairman to help him along.

I'd do that but I'm gonna be out of town for this one...does this potential chairman want his co-chair to be at the event?

I'm the one interested in co chairing and if you think I can handle it I'd be ok with my co to be absent from the event.

Go for it! It's a great experience and you'll be amazed at how much you really don't do on event day (don't get me wrong, you'll be busy, but it's a good busy). It's all in the preparation. The earlier you get everything done for the event, the easier it seems to run. Good luck, you'll have fun.

Oh, I won't be able to attend the event, but I can do trailer duties.

Great, Joe!

Be sure to read this if you haven't already:

That will get you started.

By the way, we're at 24 entries already! (I'm lookin' at you, Scott...)

Ok, so if Joe doesn't care if I'm there then I guess it's Joe and me. Once you've looked over the link Loren posted, lemme know and we'll get cooking on a course and the other odds and ends that'll need to get done.

Thank you Eric for stepping up on trailer duty even before I understand what that is!

Thank you Loren for the link, I will start my reading right away.

Steven, I will pm you as soon as I'm done with my homework so we can start.

I'm looking forward to this busy month and hope that we can pull off a successful event.

Thanks
Joe

If it's good, accept the glory. If it sucks, blame your co-chair.

Looking for info on the supplies in the trailer. Does anyone have any idea what we may be lacking on supplies in there? Water, Soda, Paper products. Also, marble dust, most likely last used in November at SPC.

Thanks,
Joe

I can edit, and I'll see them coming in as they register. In fact, I need to fill in that list from current entries...will get to that tomorrow night.
