You've got plenty of time to get a V8 before the event.

We did this course in July 2007. Sweepers are sometimes hard to come by at SPC, so it should be fun.

Keep all your old course maps, do you? While I reused most of that design (particularly the sweepers), there are a few changes thrown in. The straight up the south wall is slightly different -- last time we had to slow down the original layout, so I worked that in early. Many of the corners (including the sweepers) are also set up a little different to allow a wider variety of lines (or mistakes). Don't get too comfortable. :)

Nah, I just remember! Not sure who originally designed it... It was also an event in which we had just three runs that counted due to the weather. The weather sort of held up, so we had an additional two runs that didn't count. In some cases, the classes would have had different outcomes if the last two runs counted. At SPC, it's nearly impossible to have the exact same course twice anyway...the cone placements are best guestimates. The changes should be a nice touch. :)

C'mon...we're talking about Jack. He'd be having the ceremony at the autocross..."I now pronounce you driver and co-driver...." :D

49 entries as of this post, and a couple more I know of coming. Aaron's in charge of weather, so we get all our runs. :)

Man, I was gonna talk some trash to Aaron, but not now... :|

49+ ? That's great! Nice way to start off the season. Add a few walk-ons and we might be near capacity - that would be cool.

Edit:
By the way, the SPC registration and liability forms are on the website, if anyone wants to print them out and complete them ahead of time. Registration Form Liability waiver

Print 'em double-sided on one page, please - less paper to shuffle... 8)

There's a 60% chance of rain with a 70% chance that those "race-tire" folks will be whining about not getting any dry runs.
