Finally got one of my in-car videos up. Just wish I would have kicked the wipers on before taking off on the run.

Will do. :)

Steve could you please send me a new blank Excel file for the points? Or should I just delete the names and dates from the old one?

I set you up, bud. I'd leave the names if I were you - clutters the table a bit, but beats retyping them all...

I really thought about not even making the trip over there since I wouldn't get there until noon, and the last time I ran in the rain at St Pete was like driving a bar of soap on a sheet of ice. When I got home Sat AM I found a praying mantis on my car. That's good luck right? I had to go!
Thanks to Ron for a quick guided parade lap. I think hitting that course in the rain with no walkthrough would have been ugly.

Also, welcome backto Scott Levengood and Rob Edwards, good to see you guys back out after so long.

Like everyone said...well run event once again. Conditions were certainly not ideal-my car is still drying out (it is a leaky Chevy).

Kudos to Jaime to keeping the layout as is (with minor updates) as I thought it was one of the more enjoyable courses...hopefully the teardown was not painful. Kudos to all that assisted in the course setup...doing it alone in those conditions was not making me leave bed very fast that morning. But as with all past events...great folks and great fun.

FTD: I was shaking my head when I read Rydell succeeded! I've always thought that Subaru was NA...but he must have stuck a huge turbo on that thing or executing some perfect rally type driving (probably the latter!). Congratulations! And here I thought pulling one of the plug wires from Jeremy's S2000 would have given me a leg up...

Thanks Eric for taking the images. All appreciate seeing their car in action...if only you could zoom in and get the smiles we all have when engaged with the task... :D

Hey no problem Tim. Next time if it's not raining, I should be a tad bit closer to the action and I'll working on zooming in on those huge grins as we fly through the course. If anyone needs a hi-res image and doesn't want to download the entire zip file, just shoot me a PM. :D

wow - that was a lot of fun. Great to see everyone, missed Loren's useful insight though. A day like that is a testament to the quality people we draw. Kudos to all.

Drew - anytime!

Hey,

I ran in F class last time and everyone told me I should be in E1. Would the points stay in F class if I registered for E1 this time or should I move back to F as I would love to keep my points?
Thanks in advance :)

If you should've been in E1, then your finish and points will need to get moved from F to E1. If you've modified your car since then, and will now be in E1, then the F points stay in F and any new points will count in your new class.

If we need to move you, we need your name, please.

Just so's everyone knows, Zohair Ahmed is moving from 4th in F to 4th in E1. The change will show in the points table.
