I'll be in Atlanta that weekend for the robotics nationals :(

That said, Howard has the timing equipment. I will get with Charles to get him the laptop (hopefully both of them) should somebody want to use the timing software while there.

I'll be there, and since I live about 10 minutes away I can help out a lot earlier in the morning compared to a Brooksville event. I'm still a little green when it comes to how things run, so don't anyone hesitate to tell me what needs to be done. I guess I'm a #2 personality that can be quickly changed to a #3. :D

registered awhile ago, but may be at Sebring instead, not sure yet. Registered just in case.

It was posted on S2Ki awhile ago as well

Hopefully I'll make it, and if so, I'll help in the morning, etc.

I ask that just as some people did for last week's event, if you know you won't make it -- even if the night before -- either delete your entry or send a note to wedrivefaster@yahoo.com.

Unfortunately, it's looking like I won't...we have a training weekend forecast for the 14th and 15th. I'm waiting until next week to pull my entry, but chances of a change are slim.

I checked with Dan a week or so ago, and he was aware and still planning to chair.

He takes a bit of a laid-back approach to things, if you didn't already figure it out.

I'll send him an email and let him know people are asking about him

Huh? Whut? Somebody say my name? I'm here. . .

Here's what I need: a Co-Chair.

I'm still going back 'n' forth on if I want a fresh design, or pick something proven from 2 or 3 years back. Anybody know how we're doing on soda/chalk? I know we need batteries for the radios, unless someone else already took care of that @ the last event.

My Mom & Dad are coming down for this event from IN. My Dad is a motorsports nut, but has never participated in anything. This will be a first event for both of 'em. I'm pumped. I'm really hoping to find a co-chair who can let me play host to them & do ride-alongs, etc. If there are any veterans out there who haven't chaired, or co-chaired in a while, this would be a great time to jump in. I'll have everything planned out, just need a hand with the execution!

Also, shout out if you want dibs on one of the "special" work positions.

The co-chair is the chairperson's wingman. Lots of times, they'll be in charge of getting supplies before the event, going to get lunch, etc. It also helps a person learn the ropes, or feel more comfortable jumping into chairing a first event.

For this event, I'm hoping someone can help me keep the day moving smoothly so I don't have to ignore muh folks. ;)

Thanks Dave.
