Wow! In spite of being probably the highest attended event we've had in a couple years, it went off without a hitch. 7 runs and the course Chris designed was awesome!

And thanks for letting me co-drive your MX-5, Chris! It was fun, and while not "the" setup, it was quite capable. The exhaust note from the driver's seat while on course is fantastic!

Has anyone made arrangements with Kenny to get the laptop to him for results?

It didn't dawn on me until after I got home that since Kenny wasn't there today I should have waited on the laptop so I could do the results Yellow_Colorz_PDT_20

Had fun running in "G" today, you could move as much as 3 positions forward or back in the class after each run.

Close competition today for us, respectable showing for my ~ 3,600 lb pig :)

Good course too Chris, "keep it simple stupid" seems to be the way to create a nice flowing course that isn't painfully slow on this postage stamp size lot. The norm seems to be trying to build a course there with 5 sweepers and two 6 cones 20' slaloms compressed down to a 1st gear course, nice surprise today.

Kenny mentioned trying to swing by the event late in the day, but I guess that didn't happen. Dunno anything else.

Thatw as absolutely the best course that I have ever seen at SPC, the car actually used second gear most of the race!!!

I second that!! Great weather too!!

Very well done Chris, you did a great job getting everyone moving in the morning, and even with the hicuup of the timing (thanks Howard for getting the issue straightend out), things got moving and kept moving.

I really loved the course, it suited my new swaybar nicely. :D

Thanks again Chris for the KILLER course layout. Let's do that again!!!!!

Oh, I've got the timing gear and computer. I gave Kenny a call, but haven't heard back yet.

I'm very happy that everyone had fun and liked the course. The compliments are greatly appreciated. The timing hiccup did cause me to cut the runs from 8 to 7, but it was definitely enough for people to get used to the course and post some good times. Speaking of the timing issues. I do have to say thank you to Howard for helping straighten that out.

It was awesome having Charles and Loren in class G and Cory posted some killer times today.

Loren, it was fun having you co-drive. I definitely took some pointers from you. I just couldn't seem to put them all together for one good run. I think I ran four 37.9's, but it was fun.

Also, I must say thank you to shakedown067. He signed up for setup, which he did, and also stayed for tear down and to reset the police course. I like the vid you posted also.

Last but not least. I want to thank everyone. The day couldn't have gone this smoothly without everyone doing what they needed to do. While I did make sure that everything was getting done. I didn't have to micro-manage anything either. From the trailer being on time to setup, supplies, registration, tech, lunch already being taken care of, and Jaime doing run groups and coping with some fairly late arrivals, everything went smoothly. I really think the main thing is knowing what takes priority and what needs to happen when. Like I said, I couldn't have done everything if it wasn't for you guys just doing what you do. So once again, THANK YOU!

Yeah, Chris, what they said! You did an excellent job getting everyone pumped up for the event ahead of time, and carried it right through. Definitely job well-done. Really liked the course, too.

Thanks to Brian and Stephen for helping out with registration - we either had no one around, or a crowd of 10 or more. Lots of patient waiting this morning, which we really appreciated.

And a big congrats to Bob de la Gardelle [never], who not only beat me [codrive] today, he did it in my own car, and he did it over[again] and over[ ] and over again, and with really good times. Nice job, Bob! :D

Charles, forgot you had the backup results poster job. Oh, well, next time...thanks anyway. And for everyone else, once Kenny gets the computer, he'll get the results up. We know you are all waiting, in sheer suspense, to see the final word, but please don't start posting "Results?" - they'll be up as soon as we can get them up. Eric, thanks again for delivering the timer and computer to Kenny.

Great course! Had a great time! As always it's a pleasure hanging out with the FAST group!

I only have 1 complaint. Before the next event, would the chair please remove all bumps and dips on the course- then resurface! Thanks! LOL

Also, if anyone took pictures of the kart, would you be so kind to forward them to me.. My email is f1_74@yahoo.com

Thanks again!

Everything was smooth. It was a great event. However, the first run group was pretty long for the people working. We were standing out there for a little bit over 2 hours.

I know it was a great event because the only complaint I overheard yesterday was the lack of pepperoni pizza. I don't like it myself, but apparently it was missed. I was a bit concerned when the first run group was over two hours. After doing some math, I had visions of changing tires in the dark. Thankfully, that didn't happen. :)

I would like to apologize to the driver of the silver/gray G8. He got disoriented on his first run and I wanted to ensure nothing bad happened on course. The other course workers were slow to red flag the other car on course and I made some loud, rude comments in their direction. Thankfully we got everyone stopped and safely off the course, which was my main concern. :)
