The entry count is up to 31 this morning. Probably wouldn't hurt to drop a reminder on the various forums (forii?) Friday afternoon, and maybe again Tuesday.

Are we forgetting anything? What's the beverage situation? Gas/oil for the generator? (btw, when was the last time maintenance was done on that thing?)

beverages - I seem to recall we need everything.
gas - yeah, plan on sending someone out that morning to buy gas. I don't know what generator maintenance besides a spark plug, but yeah, it's been 2 years...

I'd say at least a spark plug and an oil change on the generator. We're probably due for a "maintenance party" to give the trailer a once-over, too.

I have registered for this event, but unfortunately, I don't think I will be able to make it. How do I go about withdrawing so I can get an event credit?

Sell Miata, buy old crusty 240, I've already changed pretty much every bolt/bushing in the front end of the car and it still rattles. So I can only assume its a "feature"

The courses look pretty interesting. You mentioned working the practice course fun run style. I haven't been around long enough, I guess, to know what that means. How exactly would the practice course work? Can I assume there would only be 1 person at a station, with no one on grid, and one person running the start, finish, and the stop watch?

If we have enough people, the practice course will be run as usual. If we only have enough people to send one group to the practice course at a time, then they'll work it "fun run" style. That just means it's up to them to decide how they want to work it, if if they want to work it at all. Sometimes a handful of volunteer workers will work the key areas, sometimes a chase vehicle is at the ready to run out and pick up cones. Sometimes the downed cones are left until there's enough of them down to warrant sending someone out to pick them up. Oh, and timing will come down to "have a friend grab a stopwatch".

But, hopefully we'll have enough drivers to send two groups to the practice course and work it in the normal fashion.

Wow, 5 pages already?

Sorry, I was busy travelling to Venice everyday for work and then now I am in Orlando till the end of this year, but I will try and register tonight or tomorrow since I love B'ville!

I need to order fronts.

J, who did you order your Direzzas from? I need to order me Direzzas asap and maybe register before I do anything else. I guess I will have to do corner working this time since Tech and everything else is already called for :(

Jamie,
You may have noticed (or not) but the Setup guy Keith has cancelled. Maybe Mr. MoZo might be interested?

Sorry people, there will be no breakfast available for this event. Willemina is involved in catering dinner for 160 people that night for our church. Maybe January.

Sure seems like a good course idea, Loren; should be plenty of seat time.
