2010 Class Champions

Postby Native » Sun Jul 18, 2010 10:32 pm

The points table can be found here

Congratulations to all the winners! :D

Here's a few notes to help everyone understand:
x) You must compete in 4 events within a given class to be eligible to win. Some folks did not qualify because of this.
x) Perfect attendance will result in dropping of the lowest score. Those scores are highlighted in yellow in the table, and did change the finish order in Class G (or at least broke a tie).
x) You can only win an award in one class. Sorry, Eric. Your higher finish was First, so you'll have to be happy with that!
x) Ties are broken by looking at which driver has more Firsts, then Seconds, etc. If still tied, it then goes to who beat who more. It came down to that in Class J for Third place. Close!

Class A
1 - Damico
2 - Stowe
3 - McArthur

Class B
1 - Caniff
2 - Edwards, Rob

Class C
1 - Sculerati

Class E1
1 - Gardner
2 - Jones
3 - McKim

Class E2
1 - Scoda
2 - Palloj, Roel
3 - Baron

Class E3
1 - Huff
2 - O'Neil
3 - Warner, Evan

Class F
1 - Gwatney
2 - Williams, Jeremy
3 - Lebec

Class G
1 - Ray
2 - Meier
3 - Tamandli

Class H
1 - Frank
2 - Sparks
3 - de la Gardelle

Class J
1 - Parke, Adam
2 - Raiti
3 - Chawk

Class R
1 - Wheeler, Scott
2 - Wheeler, Mary

Do Chris and myself win an award for being the only people with a yellow square?

Iron Man award. *flexes muscles*

Yah, you and Chris get the "Perfect Attendance" certificate, just like in grade school!
Wait, scratch that - how about an extra t-shirt with a big, yellow square on it? hah! I like that!
No, no, even better - one of those t-shirts with the cartoon of the ripped dude with a six-pack, with a big yellow square on it. mmmm......

LOL, but that makes sense. No sweat there, there were a lot of no shows in B so I felt it was kind of cheating anyway. I'll take the first in F, no problem. The big question is, which class to run in next season.

Wow! 3rd place I'll take it even if I did have to drive Steve's car to do it. Yellow_Colorz_PDT_02

Perfect Attendance : That kind of makes Jeremy and Chris the Sponge Bob's of Auto-X. I guess I spend to much time with the grand kids.

So for perfect attendance, I should make a shirt with sponge bob hanging out of a S2000 or Miata?

Great time folks.

Interesting how one can go 11 events and several of the rankings are separated by a point! Adds a bit of a thrill to it.

I think the FAST program is a good one.

Cheers!

Let me tell you a tale of the yellow square beetches.
Yellow square beetches had names with a square.
Plain-name beetches had none upon theirs.
Those squares weren’t so big. They were really so small.
You might think such a thing wouldn’t matter at all.

But, because they had squares, all the yellow square beetches
Would brag, “We’re the best kind of Beetch, with our yellow square.”
They would sniff and they’d snort with their snoots in the air,
“We’ll have nothing to do with the plain-name sort!”
And, whenever they met some, when they were out walking,
They’d hike right on past them without even talking.

I don't get it?????

Steven, I can't view the points table. This is the only time this has happened. I've always been able to view it in the past. It just comes up as a whole bunch of weird ? characters.

ERROR CORRECTION

changes to the order of finish in CLass E2.

Keith Pecha had two name entries in the points table that caused an error in the total number of points he earned for the season. The two lines should be combined, and as such he ends up with a total of 22 points, which moves him into Second place.

So, the correction Class E2 Season Champs are:

1 - Scoda
2- Pecha
3 - Palloj, Roel

Baron is in 4th - a good show for a noob!

Apologies to Keith for the error, and to all for the misinformation.

Change to Results/Points Rule:
Current rule reads:
"Any corrections for the record – times, finishing positions, classings – must be requested prior to the next event."

New rule is:
"Any corrections for the record – times, finishing positions, classings – must be requested prior to the next event." Point corrections must be requested prior to the next updating of the points table."
