PS: We are in need of someone to tow the trailer for this event. Or even just tow it TO the site on Saturday if you're not coming out Sunday.

Anybody?

If no one else is able to handle this I'll tow it up Friday night. It'd be nice if double trailer towing was legal in FL! Weld a receiver tube on my car trailer and I'd be good to go.

I'll be running with FAST on Saturday but Sebring on Sunday so if someone else can haul it back to Howard's on Sunday that'd be great.

The trailer towing job is a paid job. It ain't much, but ought cover gas and a Coke.

I'm not making it again. Forgot I have family coming into town. They'd go to SPC, but not B'ville. I guess I described it too vividly for them...stupid stupid stupid

Done, although I'd rather folks learned to read. [rant]In fact, I'd be in favor of denying entries to anyone who doesn't demonstrate they can read a basic event announcement...not sure I trust a driver who can't read.[/rant]

So if Steven cancelled does that mean there's an open spot for Saturday??? Also, I'm planning to do the Endurocross if the resgistrar is still open for it. I know I'm cutting it a little close for registering but it sucks cause I can't find out if I have weekend duty or not until 2 weeks prior.

Best bet is to email Jamie at info@wedrivefast.com

He's likely to get that email before he gets around to perusing the forum.

Alas, not any more...several others spotted it and one got there first.

You can still register for Sunday, although I'll have to enter it manually. Send at note to info@wedrivefast.com -- I can upload your info from a previous entry. In this case, waiting until just before registration closes probably won't hurt, but in general, go ahead and register...if you get put on the weekend roster, you'll get an event credit. We understand no-notice weekends and TDYs.

I could tow the trailer back on Monday. I would just need to know how to get in to the airport and where I have to bring it to.

Easy hurdles to get past, Ed. Unless someone else has a better idea.

Charles, are you still up for towing the trailer to Brooksville for Saturday?

Sure, I'll haul it up Friday night. if anyone needs to OK that with the airport, please do.

As far as leaving the trailer until Monday, we probably do need to double-check with the airport. I don't recall us leaving it there that long in the past.

As long as we can get someone to drag it over to the pad by the motorcycle training area, leaving the trailer on-site should be fine. Steve can confirm that.

Okay, so that hurdle is past. Thanks, guys!

I certainly can.
I'll email the airport and get the official word.

edit: Done. I'll post back the reply once I get it - probably Monday.

Okay, I think we're all set for the weekend (next weekend, not this weekend!).

Charles is going to tow the trailer on Friday. Ed is going to return it on Monday.

Ed is going to order lunch for Saturday, and either he or I or someone else will pick it up.

I'll handle lunch for Sunday.

Remember to be EARLY on Sunday, everyone! The gate WILL NOT be manned after 8:30am.

Jamie or Loren:

Would it present a problem for Liz and I to change class from F to B just for the Sunday event ? The Hoosier's have been sitting in the garage since May in eager anticipation of a HSDE or road event and the Endurocross may be a good opportunity to use them.

Looking forward to next weekend!
Jim
