I fell over this one while looking at some stuff online.

It looks like tampa's version of SPC.

but there is a road course looking roads attached to it. could be intresting

plug this into google maps and you'll see it.

That's TPD's site. It was discussed here before. The really nice one is the HCSO site in Lithia. It looks awesome.

Looks like it's about 600x150, Jeff. Imagine a small chunk of Brooksville with no runoff on either side. We really couldn't do much with it, unfortunately.

Jeremy, I was looking for that Lithia site the other day, can you pinpoint it for me? (shhhh... we're in site acquisition mode)

I've drafted some qualified folks to wrangle sites for us. We'll see how far they get with this one.

These days, adding a little money into the Sheriff's budget just might be a welcome thing. We can hope...

One of my co-workers knows a Colonel in HCS so I'm seeing if she can find the main contact for the range and to put in a good word for us.

We're trying to be very coordinated in our approach to new sites and not "hit them from all sides" from different people. If you have a good contact, it might be best to simply let them know that we may be contacting them and then pass on their info to me or Steve. A single point of contact for our club and a solid presentation of who we are and what we do is going to make us appear much more professional.
