He-ho! I'm a newbie and would like to get involved in your club. I'd like to give this autocross thing a try. How do I register and attend the next event? Sounds like a blast!

Welcome! We do our registration through myautoevents.com. You'll need to sign up there and register. Here's our list of events there.

You should also read all of the novice info on our website if you haven't already. And if you look at the bottom of the home page, you'll see a schedule... each event has a link to that page above. :thumbwink:

Tim- Go to myautoevenys.com and use the drop down menu on the left side of the screen to select FAST. It will pull up the upcoming events and click on the sunday october event. Once on that page there will be a link after a description of the event that says register now. Click that and fill out your info. You can pick a number you'll use for the event that must be on the side of your car. If you aren't sure what class your car is in you can post here and let us know if it is stock or modified and we can tell you the class. Remember all your info can be edited once you register for the event. So if you do miss-class yourself, we can always change it to the proper class.

Important-There is no walk up registration allowed for this event. You must pre-register. The registration deadline is listed on the myautoevents web site.

Hope to see you there!

REGISRATION NOTE:
Saturday and Sunday are two separate events. To attend both, you must register for BOTH events. Saturday is the Gymkhana/Practice event, and is a regular-priced $30. Sunday is the Points event and is also $30 unless you're registered for Saturday. If you're registered for Saturday, you are eligible for the discounted $20 entry on Sunday.

In short: One day or the other = $30. Both days = $50. Registration for each day is completely SEPARATE.

I'm in for Sunday, will have to miss the fun Saturday event. Fingers crossed for at least some slightly coolish weather!

Jamie, I added my co-chair and co-co-chair (he's handling lunch) to the list.

We're going to need someone to tow the trailer to the event Saturday and back Sunday. Doesn't have to be the same person.

Also need one of our trained safety guys to step up for Safety.

Trust us...we throw no one to the wolves. Likely as not, you'll end up on a course station. Great place to watch the action from, when you're not sprinting out to set up a downed cone.

I MAY be able to tow the trailer. It's my wedding anniversary earlier that week and I am sure that wifey has plans, so I can't commit to anything yet.

Since this is close to my house, I can help with tear down, garbage drop off, whatever, I cannot however be there early.
