Fantastic time! Huge turnout and still a lot of runs, who could ask for more!

Loved the course and the lunch. Thanks to all!

Loved the course too!

New shocks really made a difference, to bad my battery crapped out, and after I got it jump started, I had a major mind cramp and shut it off again ! After that I was done, needed to get the car home and get a new battery. At least I got 4 runs in.

Still what a fun course ! Everyone as usual pitched in and made it another great event. Great weather, except John may take exception to the wind that took down the canopies, that really sucked, his car got some scratches and could've been worse, but I'll say that John was the man and took it in stride. :thumbwink:

Great day overall, hopefully Drew took care of the awards and all was well. :)

Simply fantastic day for sure. Was a blast battling it out in M1...I've got to step up my game, but DAMN that was a fun course today. Great choice for lunch too, was a good, light sandwich. Wish I could have stayed longer, I've never liked not staying till the end of an event, but I'm just happy to be able to attend again this year.

Not my fastest run, but one of the vids that turned out the best...

Yes, John did take it in stride, BUT....it does suck that his car was damaged. Canopies really need to be discussed before the next event, I'll post some ideas in the 'Club Forum' tomorrow.

Anyway yep, it was a blast. Some video's to follow. Scott

Really a good day. The weather was great. The course was great. And as always the company was great as well. It was good to see some old faces and some new ones too. I couldn't figure out how to get a clean run and I've got a long way to go before I figure out how to use the 6-speed effectively, but I was grinning all day. Thanks to every one for helping to make another great event. See you all in November.

I never bettered the time I set on my first run. Thanks to Joe Baker for talking me off the ledge when I was freaking out.

Everybody that stayed after, you rock! Seemed like tear-down was quick and efficient.

Lunch was perfect. Just say yes to cookies and fun party plates!

Cookies and chips to go with the sandwiches were my idea, but everything else AND the flawless execution were all Doug!

The veggie wraps that we had Saturday were awesome! Highly recommend more of those the next time we order from Publix.

Don't forget to tag your YouTube vids with "drivefastvids" (like Jeremy did) so they'll show up on the FAST website.

And... is it Greg who's tagging Gulfcoast Autocross vids and dyno runs? Please don't do that. Only tag videos of FAST events.

It was great to get back out there. I had a great time seeing all of you and running the Miata. I look forward to November!

P.S. One change I noticed that I liked was the awards being handed out at the end of the event. This is probably helps keep people around a bit longer to help out. Nice job!

Also helps us get rolling quicker in the morning.

Good to see you, Shon. Are you going to be a regular this season? Class S4 is way too light. Where have all the "stock" Miatas gone?

Sorry about that, simple copy & paste error ... went through my youtube and deleted the drivefastvids from unrealeted vids

Robs comment "it's like a big Miata, only with horsepower and no handling."

...can't agree more! :(

Great to see that Gerry beat me (in my old car) by .8 sec. He musta had an excellent mechanic set up his car. :thumbwink:

'twas a ton of fun! It's good to see Ed be a good sport about getting beat by a noob in his old car. ;)
