Sorry, Ed. Got busy as soon as got back to work and tried posting too quick. Totally forgot to say THANKS for helping out. Saved a ton of time by having you there. That and I'd never gotten it on as far forward as I didn't have another jack since I was planning on using my truck as a jack. LOL

Isn't there quite a bit less tongue weight on a boat trailer? It's good for 1,500lbs, the tongue weight shouldn't be too close to that right? Just thinking out loud, now that it's done. :bangwall:
If it's a harbor freight part, it's probably really good for 750lbs of tongue weight :-)

If our trailer is loaded properly, it shouldn't have more than ~ 300lbs on the tongue, no worries there.
