Wow I just counted 29 Novices, I wonder if that's a record. My vette is still out of commission but will be taking pictures and letting people borrow my go pro for their runs. If you guys needs some experienced course workers out there I'll gladly help out.

The post-school event is always like that -- 20 of those novices are students from the previous day.

Yep, it's going to be a crazy day. Some experienced help will be welcomed, just let the event chairman know you're there when he starts calling for workers.

Posting this for Dave & Ron:

At Chris Meier's suggestion, we'll be rerunning a previous "after-school" course this Sunday. You can find it here:

Rotate your tires left-to-right between each run, you'll be fine.

It's not as bad as you think. Plus, if you read the post event thread from last time the course was run, everyone really enjoyed it.

Heads up to the event chairs, I have a friend that's a photo buff. Him and his wife are coming out for the whole day to shoot photos. They will both pay in $5 for lunch, just wanted to let you know. Though they said they will just have a few waters. Told them only one can hold the camera and the other has to be a spotter, they totally understand.

Just saw the course. Where is the slalom ? I guess I will have to practice my slalom skills at lunch time Saturday. :)

I was being a wise-ass. Yes, you're an instructor. Which is why you should be able to identify the slalom in Sunday's course.

Ha, I figured that is what you meant, but I don't see any true slalom on the course map for Sunday. Unless the yellow line drawn is optional ?

Maybe I have gotten the wrong course map ? From what I see for Sunday is a pretty straight forward sweeping course. ? ? ?
