By the way, there are now 11 slots left open (5 days... this would could be filled in under a week!).

Feel free to peruse the registration list and then poke your missing cool friends as necessary.

2 spots left. No Idea what class I should be in so I left it at m3. Car isn't classified yet. Move me wherever.

It "feels" like it should be an M2 car due to its 200 hp, but I said the same thing about the SRT-4.

Let's go with the SCCA's Street Prepared catch-alls until they class it. Not that it helps much.

DSP:
Sedans over 1.7 and under 3.0 (but it's not a sedan)
Sports cars under 2.0 (um... maybe?)

ASP:
Sports cars over 2.0 (um... maybe?)

By that logic, it's either M3 or M1! We'll call it M3 for now. It's unmodified and probably on factory tires, anyway, right?

Yeah it'll be 9 days old and completely stock crap tires and all. Unless they suck so horribly that I force myself to replace them, but in 9 days... Doubt it.

We've been counting wrong.

Since guests are now being entered as independent "entrants" in the "non-drivers" class, they count in the total. The entry limit shown on the MAE list includes guests. That limit is 75 and we're at 70 total (that includes the 5 guests that are registered).

So, as of right now, there are 5 slots open. Get 'em while they're hot. :whip:

Why would it be in M if it's stock?

Couple of reasons. It's easier to misclass it in stock classes. Technically per scca until its classed as super stock (which I'd run in s1 if desired). I normally run in m3 with a stock class car for the additional competition and I like running with the guys in m3. I actually don't care about the points, I doubt I've run enough to be competing in the points race anyways.
