One fantastic day! Great course, smooth event, could have used a little cloud cover. Thanks for the photos, that was impressively quick!

Thanks to everyone for another well-run event.

The course sucked me into going too fast every time until my last run. Finally slowed down to go faster.

Thanks for posting results so quickly.

Congrats to my better half for first in class!

Wow, results and pics...it don't git much better'n this...

Great event. Kudos to the chairs and all their helpers - first car out was at 10:20! Some really excellent driving out there today, I think our entire group is getting more and more talented. Well done to all! Also really appreciate all the volunteer help today, especially for cleanup. Goes so much more easily with more hands - thanks!

On the other hand, I know of one driver in the second run group who skipped out on his work assignment (no one knew if an "arrangement" had been made to allow this). So, should you choose to join us again, you can bet you'll do your work assigment before you drive. There's a question about a couple others from the first run group, but no one was sure...

Okay, here's the "Final" Points:
http://drivefast.org/results/championship-points/

I'm not calling them officially final for a bit just because I know I could have made an error somewhere. And I'm sure y'all will let me know if I did.

Things you should know:
4 events in class are required for a trophy, so anyone who didn't have 4 events in a class was dropped.
5 of our drivers had perfect attendance, and thus dropped their lowest score.
A driver can only trophy in one class, so I get the higher of my two finishes.
Brian Kollar gets the Charlie Sheen award for WINNING the most events. (he also wins the crappy instructor award for obviously not imparting enough wisdom to his co-driver!)

Anytime I can take 6 clean runs and stay within 0.297 second fastest to slowest is a very well thought out course to me. :thumbwink: I may not always be fastest but I can be consistent. Congrats to Chris Baron for his two quick runs.

A great event Ron and Matt. Many people got surprised by the end of their heat I think.

On my way home there was a delay on Rt275 North as someone put a Lotus Elise rear end first into the concrete median (I assume in the rain which we all waited out.). Appeared to be a single car wreck? Sad. Why can't deep pockets learn to drive?

we saw that same car on the median. How exactly does one get their passengers rear tire up and over one of those concrete medians, leaving the car to face into traffic as if on display?

Thanks for the great event, I had a blast!

Also, thanks for the pictures!
Thanks for all the fun,
Rich

Bookmark for myself....
As far as I can tell, my SRT-4 is SCCA class STX (2013) or possibly DSP (2013)?
.... which as far as I can tell puts me in FAST class M3.

(that took way too long to figure out)

Skipped off to US 19 to avoid traffic (Hi Matt, yes I was going the wrong way) and missed the Lotus. Saw Greg's photo and all I can say is, "oof!"
