You've autocrossed your truck before. :)

If nothing else comes together, I'm sure someone would let you co-drive. Keep us posted.

Aside from that... you've got to keep it together and not make any mistakes over four laps. IF you can do that, you'll probably have me by 2 seconds per lap for a total of 8 seconds.

But, you'll make a mistake somewhere. You'll blow at least one turn. It will cost you 10 seconds. You will lose to the mighty Fred! :jester:
It just occurred to me that anyone taking the time to put on track brake pads would really kick some tail here late braking:) I had the rear pads replaced a couple weeks ago and flushed out the fluid so bet they will get well bedded by day's end with shiny discs again:)

Don't even tell me I have to rent a Uhaul and feed you all too. (Thanks Snook for bringing the ton of ice and soda.)

I will feed you and sit on my increasingly fat aging ass while you drive my craZy fast car if you bring the trailer out and take it home to Tampa.

It's all about the Famous food to me anyhow. BUT at some point I'll want a rebate. AND I will tell Matt how to thump your bum.

From what was posted in the July post-event thread, we've got next to nothing as far as water and soda goes.

We should be ok on paper products but by all means an extra roll of towels is fine :snicker:

And I would love too, but it's not in the best shape either. I managed to break my passenger rear upper shock mount last week. Man does it suck driving the 4 miles to work, much less 120miles round trip to brooksville! Luckily with bags, I just air it up so it's pretty stiff. I got a line on a part today for the vette that I'll be bolting on tonight, wish me luck as I want to try out endurocrossing!!!!! Still considering stealing my wife's hyundai too!

Just get to the track, Eric. You can bang around in my car if you need to! (but, hopefully, better options will present themselves)

Steve, have we got the trailer tow situation worked out yet? Man, I hate waiting until the last minute...

Yeah, Eric our offer is still open as Plan B.

Where's Ed? Ed, if you are towing, we can help by driving your car up to Brooksville and back to save some shuttling around. We being Eva, as Doug has to go to work after the event, but I can stay late if necessary.

Or anyone else who might tow but can't figure out how to drive two vehicles at once...

Or Eric, co-drive my Focus SVT (and show me how it is done).
The Jag complains about autoX by throwing Gearbox Faults.
I think it is just lazy.

Thanks Eva! And I still have it as an option! Scored the part I hopefully need. Hope to get to put it on tonight and will let y'all know how it goes! I'm REALLY hoping this is the cause, otherwise the car might just sit for a while (especially after I bang on it with a baseball bat for a while :bangwall: )

I pm'd Ed yesterday. I'll give him a bit longer to confirm before we panic into plan B, which as of yet doesn't exist...

Sure, I am in to tow. I will pick it up and take it home on Friday and then bring it up there Saturday. Please confirm with the AP if I can leave it Saturday (day or night). Sorry for the last minute but I was unsure if I could do it til now.

Thank you Ed!
There is an event on Saturday so it'll need to be a late drop-off.

Go for it!

I'm officially a no go for launch. The hopeful quick fix didn't work of course. Saturday will be fixing some odds and ends that the truck needs so it'll be family time on Sunday. Sorry folks, really wanted to be there. Anyone have some welding skills they'd like to lend out.... :bangwall:

I own a Lincoln Electric Wire Feed Mig. I have self taught "skills" here is the product info if it will work for the job you are doing.

I can meet up with you if you want to try a do-it-yourself.

It will be interesting to see if Howard's car can run for four consecutive laps. :dunno:
