70 entries as of today. This being an SPC event, we allow up to 75 to pre-register. So, if you know anyone who isn't registered yet and "should be", better start rattling their cage!

Here's the Entry List.

Volunteer Needed for Supplies on 15th

Postby twistedwankel » Fri Aug 31, 2012 3:49 pm

Inventory from Steve:
"For Sept, there's almost 10 cases of water and probably 5 cases of soda left - it looked to me like we'll need regular Coke and Pepsi, and maybe a few more diets? We also already have a bag of marble dust in the bottom of a helmet box."

We need a volunteer to get 10 bags of ice and the mentioned sodas in the morning. Possibly have to make a short ice run before lunch if it all melts? Just keep your receipts.

Walmart (open 24hrs) is right across the street and Publix (opens 7:30am) is up the road only 1/4 mile.

Since I'm doing lunch, I can also take care of the supplies, I will get there a little after 8am, and will make up a list and go.

Thank you Brian. Boy am I glad you got that new laptop :read:

Looks like we're ready to race come the 15th with a full house for the first event. Special thanks to all of you who have volunteered early for critical positions.

Let the smack talk begin!!

Chris Baron has a 10" rim. I have a 7" rim. It's not the size of the wand that creats the "magic". It's what you do with it.

If the requirement is 14" and make it hurt, just spin out twice!

Guy, by mistake, in a new medical bldg. goes into a podiatrist's office instead of the urologist's office.

Nurse receptionist asks: "What seems to be the problem?" So the old guy flops his appendage on her desk. The nurse shrieks: "That's not a foot." Old guy says: "Lady, let's not argue over a couple inches." :pointlaugh:

That explains why you insist the contact patch from your 7" is a footprint....

FYI: One of our 75 entries was a guest. So, I upped the total allowed to 76. There's now one slot open if anyone was waiting for it.

LUNCH WARNING:
We're getting BBQ. The only edible that will be available that doesn't have meat / pork in it will be cole slaw. If that won't suit your dietary needs, please be sure to plan for yourself otherwise.

Pork is my favorite vegetable. Can I get a pulled pork sandwich with bacon on it?

Love the course! If you turn it upside down, it looks like Roger from American Dad !
