What they think happened is that the first boom blew off the fuel and nitrous lines, he attempted to restart the car to try and pull the flames into the motor (you fuel injection guys know nothing about this) not realizing that all the lines were blown off, and fuel was puddling in the intake, well the melee ensued, he hit the fire bottles and got hung up on the steering wheel, (forgot to remove it first). The guy helping him is named Tony who I'm sure was getting warm, his crewman was the one that clicked the electrical shutoff at the back of the car killing the fuel pumps.
