Decent write up, though I wish the writer would have stayed on topic rather than belly ache about his lack of track knowledge or being unfirmilar with an M3. Must be rough.

Since I'm new to the scene and though I've read some tire reviews before, you can take my opinion for what its work (sorry for sounding like the artile writer just then). For $150 a pop these appear to be a decent choice for someone that hopes to get rewarding performance from their purchase. with a 200 tread wear indication from the review are that they havea better feel than some of the tires tested against.

I've had BFG's in the past and have enjoyed them. If budget is a concern I'd say you could do a lot worse than these. Thats just my .02.

The tread pattern doesn't look great for street use. Probably going to be very loud and less than stellar in the rain. Just a guess.

But, if the're that much better than the Hankook RS3, there will be a battle between these and the new Dunlop ZII in the world of high-end street tire competition. Those guys don't care about street manners.

Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.

Also, be on the lookout for an ultra-performance Michelin streetie, as well.

It's a good time to run in a street tire class these days... :thumbwink:

* '90 ZR-1 368CI SGC built 'Factory Black Motor' (11.0 @ 130.2 & 11.2 @132.4 w/ the 368--sprayed 120 shot)--NOT the greatest Auto-X tool...
