Tires..they getting expensive

Postby Solar » Sat Feb 09, 2013 2:01 am

Checking out a set of RS3's, wow ! Everyday the price goes up and up ! I finally had to pull the plug and get a new set when the getting was good.

You know you own a "racecar" when you have put close to 10,000 miles on the car and you're looking at your 3rd set of tires ! 8-)

My days of driving the Nissan as a slight daily driver are DONE !!! (dammit, I love my Miata)

because racecar 8-)

I was going to get some new Rivals. BUT I figured all the local dogs would chase and eat my new meats so why bother. I'll stick with Toyo's and RS3's. Nobody like black licorice.

When are you going to bring Shamu out to play again? I've got something for you.

But your grey car isn't in my class.
I wanted to show you how well my tires work and how shamu won't be able to keep up with my 'signature' car.

OHHHHH. You want to open up a can of whompass on Shamu :pointlaugh: Like when I used to work and smuggle home a surprise for the little woman under a hat :rolling:

I got Lee Iacocca to sign my dash so it will be a close race. AND my limited edtion car is #256182 whoohoo!! A signature event in the making.

Since I'm a nice guy I looked around and found a Carrol Shelby signed ignition control module for Shamu. I know how much you like his signature on my car.

Frankly I could give a rats a.., but you brought it up the last time we where at St. Pete so I guess it's some kind of fetish or something.

Limited edition means nothing. I could care less if it's 1 of .....

Yes Mike you are a nice guy :thumbwink:

AND you have a way cool car!! Way cooler than anything I will ever own.

I met a young guy yesterday in Tavares @ Martin event who actually won a "one" off new mustang that has everything in the FOMOCO speed equipment catalog on it. It cost him only $17k in taxes and he was moaning about that a little. :chuckle: Can he drive it well after his FWD econobox with 500HP+ at the wheels? Yes he drove it well but not very fast yet.

I would welcome a Shelby anything for Shamu :binky: Even a signature to make it worth more.
