Would have really liked to attend - I've STILL never been to 'Casa del Flowers' - but my Folks will be down to see the baby that weekend. Glad to see so much interest in a planning meeting, hope you all make it. Show that support and keep Steve motivated to continue leading us!!!

I was just reminded that I have a play to go to Saturday afternoon at 2pm. I *might* make it to the meeting around 5-6pm... is that too late?

The "Push Harder, Suck Less" philosophy explained:
Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.

I'd certainly like to join the planning and learn more about the "behind the scenes" aspects of the club (beer and food is an enticing incentive, too), but my allegiance has me supporting my alma mater against Cincinnati. GO BULLS!Anyone else meet "membership" criteria planning on coming?
Hope the meeting goes well!

That all depends if there is sleep involved in that time. a couple hours of sleep can do wonders. well a couple hours in a near coma state. I have been on road trip events where we stayed out till 4:00 and had a drivers meeting at 8:00 am... :-ODave-ROR wrote: Back in the SCCA club racing days one of our drivers kept changing his time of bottle to throttle.. I think it ended up with 4, maybe 5 hours bottle to throttle once.....

Our resident pastry chef is putting together a Sacher Torte.
I have lemonade and iced tea (sweet). I don't know if I'll have time to hit the store for sodas, so people might want to bring what they'd like. Besides, I don't know what y'all might want. Coke? Pepsi? Sprite? Root beer? Dr. P? Sasparilly? (OK, just kidding about the last one.)
