I think "degraded" would be a more appropriate word.

It was just a joke. Lighten up Francis.

I don't have a problem with the course. Looks fun to me.

Somebody hopped from late to early and took Mark's slot. Now there's an opening on the afternoon.

Dear Late Registrar:

Ed will be late to the late session check-in due to a work conflict. While this is totally inexcusable be assured that this behavior will not continue. Ed should be on site at about 12:30.

Thanks for your understanding,

Ed's Mom.

Gotcha, Ed.

And amongst the last-minute shuffle, there is now an opening in the Early session. Reg closes in 4 hours.

Make that two openings.

Nothing like waiting until the last minute.

Can't set that before registration closes. That's the biggest reason registration closes as early as it does.

And, sorry, I'm not gonna publish it.

Hey folks,

I know registration is closed. I have a sick dog who needs to go to the vet on Saturday.

Is it to0 late to cancel my registration? I would prefer to just cancel at this point, but if it's too late, I'll keep it on the chance that I can get my pup to the vet before Saturday morning.

:-/ sick dogs are not as much fun as Autocross ... might smell the same based on the image of the track Jermey posted.

Hope you guys have a good event though! Wish my pup luck.

Edit: Just found out that I'll definitely have to cancel. Only available appointment was Saturday at 10:00am

Edit 2: Went to cancel and didn't even see the option. Could be my work computer, or could be because it is all closed up.

Yeah, you have no option to cancel because registration is closed. Sorry about the pup, we'll see what we can do.

I did a quick search and only found a post from 2007 dealing with additional guests. So, what's the current protocol for including a guest after registration has closed? If memory serves me correct, walk-ups and money-handling at the gate has been eliminated?

If a guest can't be added, what's the difference between guest and spectator? Is it just the pit pass? Staying outside the gate is spectator area?

I realize this question is SPC-specific and I wouldn't bother asking for a Brooksville event. I'm unsure if TBD is more or less lax than SPC.
