Git Yer FAST Season Pass Here!

Postby Loren » Tue Jan 07, 2014 11:11 pm

We're about a month late coming up with this idea, so we'll skip January and roll right into February with it.

There are 11 Regular Championship Series events left in this calendar year. We're not sure how many FAST Classic events we'll end up doing this year, so we're leaving them completely separate from this. This "Season Pass" deal is for the following events:
  • Sun, Feb 16: Championship Event – Brooksville
  • Sat, Mar 15: Championship Event – Brooksville
  • Sat, Apr 12: Championship Event – SPC
  • Sun, May 18: Championship Event – Brooksville
  • Sat, Jun 14: Championship Event – Tampa Bay Downs
  • Sat, Jul 26: Championship Event – Tampa Bay Downs
  • Sun, Aug 24: Non-Points Event - SPC
  • Sat, Sep 20: Championship Event – Brooksville
  • Sat, Oct 18: Championship Event – SPC
  • Sat, Nov 15: Championship Event – Brooksville
  • Sat, Dec 13: Championship Event – SPC
If you were to register for each of those 11 events individually, it would cost you $30 per event plus $2.47 credit card processing fee. A total of $357.17.

Here's the deal:
Buy a Season Pass for the 2014 Championship Series events for just $295. Payable in cash or check ONLY. (CC fees would just eat up half of your savings) You save $62.17, essentially getting two events for free! To sweeten the deal, we'll also include a permanent number good through July 2015 and a pair of FAST decals with your season pass. Already got a permanent number? Knock $20 off!

How it works:
  • You pay for your Season Pass no later than Feb 16.
  • You let us know what currently available car number you want and whether you prefer to run Early or Late session.
  • We automatically register you for each of the above events and all you have to do is show up.
  • That's it! No muss, no fuss. No refunds, no credits. If you make all of the events, GREAT, you saved a few bucks! If not, well, at least you got the convenience of auto-registration out of it.
If you're interested, let me know and we'll arrange payment. If you snooze, you lose. Once Feb 16 has come and gone, it's too late to partake of this offer for 2014.

(But, what does FAST get out of this? Nothing, really. If you make all of the events, we lose $35... but we're okay with giving a freebie to the folks who attend every event! It's just a good perk and convenience that we came up to offer to our regulars.)

I'm interested. I already have a permanent car number (90) and typically prefer early sessions (though I may partake in a late session depending on schedule, etc). Let me know how to get you the cash/check.

I'm in. What a great idea! Now I don't have to sit and wait for registrations to open.

I know there's a conflict in March (12 hrs of Sebring), but hey, that's still 1 event for free. Plus I already have a number.

Since I know I can't make March, will someone be able to take my spot? Do they have to pay to register in my place or do they get in free on my prepay? I'm sure I'm opening Pandora's Box of 'what-if's'.

No, Jesse. That would fall under "credits" and transferring of same. We're not playing that game.

You buy in, YOU get registered for each event. That's all.

Pandora's box is closed. :)

I'm interested as well, though I would most likely prefer the morning session, but if for some reason I wanted or needed to run in the afternoon, could I switch ?

Yes, you can switch sessions as long as you do it before pre-reg closes. (you can even do it yourself, just as before... cancel your entry, register in the opposite session with credit)

Make it out to FAST, and mail it to Steve. (or you can give it to me Monday night)

I'm totally down for this too, but I wanted to seal my spot for Feb so I registered already.
Anyway I can send a check minus a credit for Feb's event on it?
Lemme know!! Thanks!

Yeah, if you've already reg'd for Feb, you can subtract $30. That works.

It's getting close to time to wrap this deal up!

Quick recap:

All remaining 2014 FAST Championship events (listed in first post above) for $295.
If you've already purchased a FAST permenent number, subtract $20.
If you've already registered and paid for Feb 16, subtract $30.

We need payment by cash or check by Feb 16! If you're going to the Feb 16 event, you can give it to me or Steve then. If not, mail it to Steve (address above).

If you're gonna attend all the events, anyway... this saves you about $60. If you're gonna miss an event or two, it still won't COST you anything, and you get automatically registered for each event. Jump on it!
