Helmet Selection
I'm looking to buy a helmet for autocrossing, but want to get something that will suit me for track days/HPDEs in the future. That means a SNELL helmet - but what about full face vs open face? Do groups/tracks require full face? Thanks!

You might want to review this recent thread:

Generally, open-face is preferred for street-car use. If you think you might end up in an open-wheeled car, you might want a closed-face.

No problem, just wanted to point it out so we wouldn't rehash the same info.03M3 wrote:Thanks Loren - I promise I looked around before I posted![]()
