I've been working out. Get pumped or get bumped.

:pointlaugh: :thumbwink:

For those who are registered, or will be registering soon:

Once again, be sure you have the correct vehicle and class listed. Here's the Entry List.

As of right now (pending additional entries or class changes), this is the likely class split:

R1/M1 - 5 drivers
M2/M3 - 6 drivers
S1/S2 - 7 drivers
S4/S5 - 6 drivers

Handicaps will be given as appropriate based on class bumping, car prep and in extreme cases, maybe driver skill. (or driver pumped-upness)

Tournament grids with less than 8 cars will be filled with bye runs as needed.

Different cars. S5 is mostly slow FWD cars. S4 is mostly slow sports cars plus faster FWD cars.

Holyyyy helllllll am I in a murderous bracket. At least 2 of these folks have instructed me over the last few months and looking at past results most finish in the top 1/4 most of the time.

I may resort to driving nude for weight savings. My hand was forced.

Loren, did you forget to pay the weather bill this time, every time I look the chances of Saturday being a wash out increase. :-( After like 8 autocrosses with spectacular weather in a row, I'm a little spoiled. :D At least I've signed up with my car most suited for wet autocrossing.

All we can do is hope for the best. Maybe the forecast will shift a bit? Sunday is looking really nice. At least it's not going to be cold this weekend.

The good thing about the Duel is that no matter what the weather is, you and your opponent are driving on exactly the same course in exactly the same conditions!

You will just have to wait to find out Loren. I did spend last Sunday with Doug so by exposure alone I may have uncovered an ab.

So... I'm officially Dueling in S4 in Philip's '96 Miata on all-season tires.

I haven't decided which direction to take my trash talk. But, I'll warn you in advance... I'm likely to sandbag the hell out of the practice rounds. Yeah. That's it. Sandbagging. I'll pull out all the stops for the competition runs. Then you'll see.

If you pull up 4 car lengths behind Elliot Harvey you might be able to finish your 1/2 before he does his full lap leaving at the same time. :snicker:

You know, they say all men are created equal, but you look at me and you look at Doug, and you can see that statement is not true! See, normally if you go one-on-one with another driver, you've got a 50/50 chance of winning. But I’m a driving god, and I’m not normal, so you got a 25% chance at best at beating me! And then you add Jamie to the mix? Your chances of winning drastically go down.

See the three-way at The Duel you've got a 33 1/3 chance of winning this class. But I, I've got a 66 2/3 chance of winning, cause Doug KNOWS he can’t beat me, and he’s not even gonna try!

So Jamie, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus my 25% chance, and you've got an 8 1/3% chance of winning at The Duel! But then you take my 75% chance at winning, if we was to go one-on-one, and to add 66 2/3%, I got a 141 2/3% chance of winning at The Duel! See, Jamie; the numbers don’t lie, and they spell disaster for you at The Duel!
