Feb 17 event

Postby bama_rebel2000 » Tue Jan 08, 2008 5:45 pm

Would it be possible to hold a gymkhana type event at Brooksville. I know Loren has a rally to plan as well as LeMons to prepare for. This thread is for opinions as to the pros and cons of the idea only not what the Feb 17 event will be. It takes many people working together to make any autocross sucessful so this thread gives those people a change to voice their opnions. We will have an event in Feb. if gymkhana is a bad idea let's drive like hell in autocross.
thanks bama_rebel2000

I really enjoyed the gymkhana, but in my humble opinion it is too soon for another one...

Agreed. And if you have to reverse to hit a ball off then we have to buy taller cones.

I'd rather do a Mirrorkhana this year instead of the gymkhana again.

I wish the gymkhana had at least one reverse 180.

It did. You had to back up from one "garage" to another.

Unless you're referring to a J-turn... That woulda been cool.

Is anyone willing to have me co-drive?

Right now I have a choice: tow the trailer or bring my own car. Willemina isn't available to tow that day. :(

Kenny wants to autocross the Expedition?? Isn't that taking 4wd a little too far??

Bill, I've got a slightly used Miata with a new clutch I'll share if you don't get a better offer...

OK, it appears that I'll be able to find at least one car I can drive, so you can count on me to tow the trailer.

BTW, it isn't 4WD. Just big and with the tow package.
