Looking forward to the event Saturday, just about have my car broken in. Tough to get 2000 miles in over three weeks with three business trips!

Surprised to see the Mayor racing in the AM.

Anybody seen a course map?

This is a very exceptionally well done course taking the best of two days of running it 4 years ago and blending the best features of both. Loren/Steve/Drew have made a fun course "GREAT". So many elements to lose a little time at:)

Tony this should suit your still virgin car just fine. Shouldn't ruin your new brakes either. I'm running the AM to avoid those 21 FN people who really don't pay attn to how many cones they hit so long as they have FN AND my co-driver is heading to Daytona to race again :geek:

Yes! All the shopping is done. My truck still runs. The FASTiva still runs. Full slate of competitors. Nice weather. Should be a perfect day!

I'm sad that I won't be able to make it. The weather should be perfect. I even gave my car a full service and attempted to make the paint better.

Paint is heavy. Makes the car slower.
I keep dropping parts off every event. Soon the car will be much lighter and no one will ever know.

Indeed. And it will be the Fun Run debut of the Red Herring, an automobile both luxurious and sporty, lighter and more agile than a Ford Mustang, yet more powerful than a Ford Festiva. Heads will turn, my friends. This is a car in the style of Miata destined for dominance in S5. But not yet, for in her current configuration she is overqualified. But soon...

What kind of platter should we bring to serve that red herring on? ;-)

An elegant one, Mathew, of course. But before you can cook a fish, you have to catch it.
