I would be willing to help with the trailer. For long distance events I would prefer to tow my car, but for Brooksville or somewhere else thats local to Pinellas I could have my wife tow it with the Suburban and I could drive the Miata. I'll be bringing the Burban to the events anyway as to carry the cooler, canopy, chairs, etc. We can talk about it this weekend if you guys are interested at all.

I'll be more than happy to help, give me the time and place.
I have all sorts of framing tools, 10"miter saw, rip guide, finish nailer & air comp, circular saw, sawzall, drills, levels, framing squares, ete etc.
I think before we set a date we need to make a list and go on a supply run, wood, windows, caulking, screws, nails, glitter ball, etc etc
Lets try to set a date, place and time this Sunday.

"spearheadS" will work. As long as someone takes the initiative to get everyone else going - otherwise, we'll all just sit around ready to work but just looking at each other.

Thank you all. I won't make any promises myself, but if the dates fit my schedule, I'll certainly help out, too.
edit: Carl - just read your post above. We are trying to put together a "trailer towing rotation" once the Flowers are no longer able (or sooner). Having another person in the rotation will make it easier for everyone. Thanks!

Like I said before, lets get this straightend out at Brooksville Sunday while everyone is together. Maybe make a annoucement at the drivers meeting that whoever is interested that we all meet up at lunch and get this thing going.
While it would be nice to have everyone that has shown interest show up and help, in reality 3 or 4 people would probably be enough. Whoever is there, we all need to come up with a solid plan before the build day so we're not standing around wasting daylight debating on what we should do. Plus this way we can come up with a parts list and get the supplies a few days before the build day. Of course there's going to something we forget or need, but at least we can still work while someone makes a Home Depot/Lowe's/Ace etc, run.

I know you do, but I didn't want to volunteer your tools.impalanut wrote:I have a lot of tools, especially woodworking and a commercial compressor. I don't have a welder (yet) We can work out a schedule Sunday but I am some what flexible and I don't necesarily have to be home for all the times.
Makes it real easy to do this when we have access to a shop and the trailer is right there!
The Jag complains about autoX by throwing Gearbox Faults.
I think it is just lazy.

I've got tools, an air compressor, a welder (MIG), a shop and large carport area. I live about 15 miles east of Brooksville, but I don't have a vehicle I can tow the trailer with. I do have plenty of room to store it (outside), if needed. If it would be any easier than Howard's place, then let me know.
I am willing to help with it where ever it's done, just let me know when and where and I'll try and be there.
